Only boils what you need, it's perfect for me as I live alone. But is still handy for when guests come over. Boils in 30 to 40 seconds. Easy to use with a drip tray for any overflow, fills a standard sized mug to the perfect amount. Quality product that looks good. The instructions are clear on what to use to descale when needed. Also easy to clean.

nice little hot water dispenser. Ideal for an instant hot cuppa, no need to wait ages , took less than 35/40 seconds if that! Hopefully will reduce electric bill . I made sure I performed the cleansing of item, as advised in the instruction booklet, prior to use to get rid of any manufacturing residue. James, the courier that delivered it, gave me a tip as he handed it over. Don't use a standard cup, it will overflow., use a mug. There is an overflow plate which is simple to get at to empty and clean should the need arise. Clear water tank with min/max markings and lovely blue light comes on when in use. i can't find an actual warranty with the product or even where to register it online incase it stops working. There is nothing in the instruction booklet advising of length of warranty or that it has one but it does state in the item description on Amazon website, that it has a 1 year Warranty. (Obviously you have consumer rights anyway if it becomes faulty just after purchase). The size, 1.5 ltr capacity, that I purchased is suitable for single person. If you have a larger family buy a bigger capacity one.

The item is very good and boils very quickly but my experience was let down by the delivery driver who didn't bother to ring my doorbell and just left the parcel on my doorstep five feet away from a public footpath .The tracking says that it was left at a secure location. I DON'T THINK SO.

This Breville hot cup water dispenser does the job nicely. It’s great for smaller households and does not take up much counter top space. It looks modern and stylish and is simple to use. It has been easy to fill up with a wide lid and is very fast at heating the water. It’s the second Breville we’ve purchased and really pleased with it. Great price.

I cannot fault this personally, performed the cleaning steps in the manual, then have used it as normal to make hot drinks as and when. It is just so much quicker and easier to use this. It isn't too bulky for our kitchen, seems to be of great quality and I suspect it will last as long also.

Great product, does exactly what I need, quick boil and doesn’t make mess like my old one (different make) Looks good on my work top (I think so anyway ha) great back light to. I got the 2l capacity and i get 4 mugs :) Recommend highly

after seeing one at my brother's over Xmas i decided to look into getting myself one. He got one after having a stroke so it arrived easier for him to make a hot drink! I'm glad i waited until now to got one,as it ended up being cheaper. it's arrived quickly via amazon prime delivery to a locker where i work! it was easy to assemble and after following the installation instructions it was ready to use! it quickly heats and dispensers just over 10fl oz of hot water at a time , which is enough for a 12oz beaker/cup of drink. Perfect! 8th Jan . .Just found out it also makes a decent drink in a 16oz insulated mug too . . extremely perfect.

Was good and done the job, but broke after 2 years, it is quick and easy to use.

I purchased this because arthritis in my hand was making lifting a heavy kettle unsafe and difficult. The HotCup is ideal for making a cup of coffee or tea and even for making instant gravy! No heavy lifting and piping hot water in a matter of seconds. I purchased one for our son who lives alone and he is absolutely delighted with it.

Fast boils but be aware it is UK plug if buying to use in AU. Purchased adapter from Kmart. Only regret is I should have bought larger one.

Good design. Relatively quiet and fast. English plug, so you'll require localised plug adapter for your region. 3000Watts.
