I have tried to use the Pomodoro technique for years, but it hasn't worked reliably for me. Until now, with the Time Timer! Keeping the visual cue in my peripheral vision keeps me on track. The right side of my brain can see and understand the "shape" of time as it gets smaller and smaller. Visualizing time chunks (45 minutes of writing at a time) makes me more productive, focused, and satisfied with my work schedule. And the timer is completely silent, so there's no distraction. I like to work without the alarm, and get the satisfying feeling of wrapping up a piece of work just as the slice of colour disappears. Amazing!

I really liked this timer but was disappointed to find it stop working after perhaps 5-10 uses. Amazon refunded me immediately.
