These excerpts from “Talks,” on aspects and nuances of the practice of Self Inquiry, are stunningly informative and elucidating! I recommend this collection of dialogues to all sincere practitioners. Best to read this work in small sections: which can be immediately put into practice. However, anyone seeking a narrative or essays on the Self Inquiry, should look to other works by Ramana Maharshi, or collections by others, such as David Godman.

The book - edited one assumes from other books or talks - purports to guide in practices of self inquiry. Yet, besides saying self inquire it doesn't say much. If one has a roadblock, one should self inquire.

A must I books shelf of all those who are in seek of reality and ultimate truth. Only those who seek, shall surely find.
