The first full official history of MotoGP from the earliest days to now. From the first World Championship race, through to the Honda vs. MV years, the two-stroke revolution, the vast array of personalities and neon leathers of the 1980s, and the reign of Rossi, all the way to today's stars this is an incredibly exhaustive and detailed production. This exciting and action-packed documentary is packed with facts and information, from which even the most knowledgeable racing fan will learn something new. MotoGPTM has its roots in the FIM Motorcycle World Championship established after the Second World War, and which soon blossomed to become the biggest and most prestigious motorcycle Championship. The esteem in which races are held hasn't changed much since those first days, but virtually everything else about premier class racing has. In the early years there was just two classes, 350cc and 500cc, but over time various other capacities have come and gone until today's arrangement of MotoGPTM, Moto2TM and Moto3TM. Another momentous change has been the switch from thrilling but deadly road circuits to purpose-built short courses and an ever-increasing emphasis on rider safety. This feature-length documentary looks at the changing face of World Championship motorcycle racing, and at the forces that have motivated this evolution. Along the way, we also meet a cast of characters that made MotoGPTM so compelling and so endlessly fascinating since its humble beginnings.

MotoGP need to stop letting Duke make their documentaries...
I love MotoGP and thought this would be a good buy. I've watched the season reviews of MotoGP for a while and the makers, Duke, do an absolutely terrible job of it. Again, this was made by Duke and it's quite average at best. Skips entire eras and skirts over Rossi's era of dominance completely. Very poor. Move on from Duke, Dorna. They're amateurish.

A must for all Motorcycle Racing enthusiasts
A very comprehensive documentary, covering all eras and aspects of 500cc racing through to the present day MotoGP.The film also delves into personal accounts of the top riders, such as Geoff Duke, John Surtees, Giacomo Agostini, Barry Sheene, Wayne Rainey and Valantino Rossi.A well edited and archived film that all true Motorcycle Racing enthusiasts should own. If you want a more in-depth look at the modern era of MotoGP then I recommend Hitting The Apex, which would accompany and complete this film.

Racing Together 1949-2016. A History of MotoGP Blu-ray
The Blu-ray disc is region free and the film is in a 16.9 ratio and is 1080i60Hz so should play in all regions, the soundtrack is LPCM stereo. Unfortunatly, this fantastic 2 hour documentary covering the first full official history of MotoGP from the earliest days to now.has no proper subtitles, except than for the interviews conducted in other languages. The on-screen captions and in particular the subtitled sections are extremely hard to read as they are so small.

Good history
Comprehensive review of 68 years of Moto GP and its previous incarnations. Wisely focuses on the key personalities from Geoff Duke and the late John Surtees to Rossi and Marquez, via Sheene and Roberts. And some lesser know riders including East German Ernst Denger who defected to the west after taking part in the Swedish GP. Some nice insights from various commentators but sadly not from Murray Walker whose first love was motor bike racing. There is a glance of Murray interviewing Mike Hailwood, and its Mike's son who provides the film's most poignant moment, recalling the pointless and tragic road accident that robbed him of his father and sister. You could quibble on omissions and the subtitles and labelling could be clearer. But credit to Dorna for making this film. F1 could do with an equivalent. Over to you Liberty Media!
