I thought the band might fit too tight. But it isn't tight or loose. I would say I have a normal or maybe a tinge larger size head. It fits very comfortably. (This band would be too large for kids). It stays in place because of all the little teeth that hold it in place. The band doesn't slide around. The teeth don't dig into the scalp because they're short. My braid band is the 0.9". I don't think it would stick well if you have puffy/poofy hair. Maybe a thicker size would. I was lucky to have picked the right hair color. I have brown hair with thin highlights. I really didn't know what color to pick. Took a chance with Dark Golden Brown. Luckily this color was great. The braid looks and feels like real hair (very soft). And hasn't fallen out or frayed. Because of all this, they could've charged more for it.

I just received this headband and couldn't wait to see if it matches my hair colors. I'm like a salt &pepper with silver stripes around my face which I do not like that's why I got the hair band. Unfortunately I'm disappointed because it doesn't match my hair so I'll have to return it. This seems to be a very nice headband and seems like it would be comfortable I'm going to keep looking to see if there is another one that will match.

I ordered the salt and pepper and it does not look like the picture at all. The advertised picture looks like 50% salt and 50% pepper. The one I got is labeled salt and pepper but its almost all white with minimal black and some light brown. Im returning. I rarely return amazon purchases. I attached some close ups so you can better compare and decide if this will match your hair. Its hard to find salt and pepper so i was really looking forward to this headband.If it matches your hair irs a cute headband, great price.

My young child wore this headband for school picture day. All of the synthetic hair on the headband stayed in place despite several classmates insisting on touching it (the photos shared here were taken after picture day occurred). The headband wasn’t a perfect color match with my daughter’s hair, but everyone believed it was her natural hair - both in person and when looking at the photos afterwards. I think this is an amazing value for what it’s priced at.
