Even friends keep secrets
Keeping dirty little secrets is par for the course with these friends until one of them turns up dead. Now the circle of friends is unraveling. All of them are questioned.…The group started with Kiersten and Whitney then expanded to Brooke, Jade and a few other moms. The group met on a weekly basis bringing their babies and kids along for play dates. Kiersten decided she wanted a night with the adults to play, so she invited the group to her house. Everyone was inside enjoying themselves when one of them went looking for Kiersten and found her face down in the pool.…This is the type of storyline that needs to be read in one sitting otherwise you’ll forget who is who. This is a character driven story with three different perspectives talking in both the past and present. I invested in both the audiobook and ebook. Since I’m an eyes and ears person it helps keep me focused. Unfortunately, I’m not completed invested in these characters lives. Too much drama for my liking. It seems the only way to get to the truth about Kiersten’s death is to dig deep into the secrets of the other moms who were close to her. Once the root of the scandal was revealed I understood these characters on a better level. Sadly, the journey to the big reveal was not as rewarding as the secrets.…There were four narrators performing Keep your Friends Close: Candace Fitzgerald, Daniela Acitelli, Leanne Woodward, and Stephanie Nemeth Parker. Each of them gave a solid performance.

Wow
This book has lots of juicy gossip and unbelievable twists! I think the only character I actually felt bad for when reading was Brook because they portray her as the crazy person. But throughout the story she was just trying to protect her own and in the very end she blew up because of it.It really just goes to show how far females can protect secrets and make it Look like somebody's life is better than the others when in reality it's not.To me it made it seem that there are no best friends in the world. Just people that you are associated with. The ending was so confusing. I didn't really understand why that part about the baby embryo just got thrown in the end, like um okay?I think in the end they each got what they deserved.

Great Twists
There were a lot of characters and it was hard to keep up with who was who, I did like the twists in the book, but the last twist at the end of book and the last chapter was unnecessary .

What a wonderful book for a who done it!! It is a suspenseful book. Great book about best friends that don’t really know each other’s secrets. Hard to put down book once you’re into it.

Whoa!
There wasn't a single likable character in this book except for Detective Perez and Brooke. I was rooting for Brooke to come out of all of this mess the victorious one, so hoping that she alone would walk away from every single one of these crazy people (I hated Abby!!) and live a happy life. Sadly, this wasn't the case. There were no winners here. And I hope nobody would ever name their daughter Rinley. Awful! This book was a train wreck of deceit!

Surprise Twists that will keep You Guessing until the very last page !
⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4.5 add to your TBRGrab your favorite comfys and cozy chair because you wont be going anywhere but devouring this book in one sitting !When Desperate Housewives decide it’s time for a girls night out and it’s the perfect evening until …it’s not !!If you love stories with multiple POV’s and then and now angles then this is a read for you .Lucinda definitely did an exceptional job of capturing the facade of the picture perfect little town of these woman who are far from idyllic. To keep your own secrets is wisdom; but to expect others to keep them is folly and there is a ton of secrets flying around and makes you question - Do you really know who your friends are let alone your spouse ?This murder mystery will keep you on the edge of your seat with a plot twist ending I did not see coming !!For readers who enjoyed One Of Us is Dead by Jeneva Rose , The Girls are All so Nice Here by L.E.Flynn and In My Dreams I Hold a Knife by Ashley Winstead will really appreciate this read and gobble it up 😉📚

a twist too many
The last twist in this story just takes it too far and makes the story silly. Otherwise a good read.

Good start...but....
A new-to-me author I had heard great things about. Anticipating a good read, I ordered her new book and dived in... I liked the THEN and NOW format for all the characters, that was informative. The story flowed along quite well and I found it interesting until later in the book....For me....TOO many END twists...it was like the 'kitchen sink of twists' were flying near the end...and I was confused with it all. Too unbelievable...really too silly... Disappointed, not sure if this author is for me?
