This camera is mounted to my camper and functions not only as remote security while in storage but as active security around the campsites letting us know of visitors (both human and critter). Its has survived two hurricanes in its first six months of operation. Service cost is pretty standard. Connection is stable and setup is very easy.

Lo instalé en mi bote y funcionó muy bien, no necesito de routers ni conexión a las baterías, la señal 4G funciona a la perfección con la SIM CARD de Movistar, Funciona bien en San Andrés Islas (Colombia). Lo único es que el sonido de la camara no es muy bueno, tanto de entrada como de salida, debes concentrarte y poner mucha atención para entender, Pero todo lo demás está muy bien 👍🏽👌🏼

Really wanted to use this camera to check on my horses in boarding. Liked the reviews (but most were from Germany). Then I checked the most recent reviews and the UBOX App that is used, to monitor the camera, got horrible reviews. Thought I would try to set it up anyway BUT the SIM card provided does NOT fit (any way shape or form) in the slot marked for SIM CARD. Going back! Very disappointed and lots of reviews say NO TECH SUPPORT. Why is Amazon selling something with such bad reviews for the APP? Amazon should post the App reviews as well as the camera reviews. People should always thoroughly research most recent reviews including for the apps required to use the camera. Lesson learned.

Sometimes they work. Sometimes they don’t. I have about 8-10 of these and currently 2 work consistently. Customer service is great though.

I bought two of these cameras but it's been seven days now trying to make them work to no avail. Support says it could be the SIMS, but the SIM cards work just fine. The cameras can't connect to the app, and I'm not sure what I'll need to do with them.

Die App funktioniert zuverlässig und ist intuitiv bedienbar.Der Solarbetrieb funktioniert auch in sonnenschwachen Tagen zuverlässig.Dem geduldigen und kompetenten Support von JOEY :-) ein großes Dankeschön: die Integration meiner eigenen O2 SIM hat dank ihm sehr gut funktioniert. Auch technische Fragen zu Serverstandort, Protokollen & Co wurden kompetent beantwortet. Vielen Dank dafür.Einziger Wunsch an die Weiterentwicklung der Software/App wäre, dass die LED und IR LED Funktionen zu der Blendensteuerung manuell kontrollierbar wären. Das sind aber sehr hohe Ansprüche meinerseits, die ich in dieser Preisklasse nicht grundsätzlich erwarte.Bis jetzt (über 6 Monate) laufen beide Kameras zuverlässig.Auch das Cloud Jahresabo funktioniert parallel zu meiner SD Speicherkarte sehr gut.

Edito:Después de tenerla 5 meses tengo que decir que es le doy 5 estrellas y porque no hay más. Me enviaron una tarjeta sd de su marca y hasta el día de hoy no ha dado ningún fallo. Los recomiendo 200%. Atención al cliente exquisita y muy eficiente.Es una auténtica maravilla. Se ve y se escucha perfectamente. El servicio de atención al cliente lo mejor, te ayudan en tus dudas y te las resuelven. El único pero que le pongo es que no se puede formatear la tarjeta SD mediante la aplicación, hay que sacarla y formatearla en un PC. La recomiendo

Vraiment un excellent rapport qualité / prixFacile à paramétrer, très bonne définition même en SD, détection qui fonctionne correctement.1. Paramétrage :Il faut télécharger l'application UBOX ; il faut vous assurer que la LED située sur la caméra est bleue fixe ; sinon, c'est soit que l'APN est mal paramétré, soit que le réseau 4G est insuffisant (soit les 2). Pour les paramètres APN, il suffit d'aller sur Google et de rechercher "APN" avec le nom de votre opérateur.Attention, 2 barres en 4G avec un opérateur, ce n'est pas forcément pareil que 2 barres en 4G avec un autre. J'ai d'ailleurs fait un test avec l'application Speedtest et la différence est flagrante. Si une fois que votre caméra est paramétrée et opérationnelle, vous avez 2 barres en 4G mais n'arrivez pas à vous connecter ... changez d'opérateur. Il faut quand même un minimum de réseau pour utiliser ce type de caméra et quand vous avez 2 barres, mais 0,5 Mbps en débit ascendant, ce n'est pas suffisant.2. ApplicationL'application UBOX est très bien conçue avec une bonne aide au paramétrage. Juste en cliquant d'un doigt, vous pouvez activer/désactiver les notifications de mouvement, ce qui vous permet d'être averti (ou non) d'un mouvement en temps réel. C’est d’ailleurs particulièrement intéressant si vous avez une montre connectée (qui le permet) : vous recevez la notification sur votre montre avec la photo.Ce qui m'a agréablement surpris aussi, c'est que l'on peut tchatcher avec le service client directement depuis l'application (un grand remerciement à Joey pour son aide précieuse au paramétrage).3. Cloud ou carte SDSi vous choisissez le stockage en cloud (perso je pense que c'est mieux car si on vous vole la caméra, on vous vole aussi la carte SD), il y a différentes formules dont la première à environ 2 € par caméra pour un mois (les vidéos sont conservées 7 jours), ce qui reste abordable quand on parle de sécurité.4. BatterieDepuis que j'ai contacté le service Client et que Joey m'a dit de désactiver l'armement 24h/24 (c'est à dire que la caméra filme en permanence, pas uniquement sur détection de mouvement), ma caméra est en permanence à 100 % (à préciser que je suis dans le sud ... des hauts de France 😉). Elle charge même sans soleil s’il y a une bonne luminosité.Attention !!! J'ai eu un souci avec une autre caméra XEGA similaire, mais à toute fin utile : la caméra ne chargeait plus ; il s'agissait de la prise USB-C du câble qui était défectueuse ; après changement par le service client (comptez 3 semaines pour la livraison depuis la Chine), le problème est réglé.5. DéfinitionPour moi la définition est excellente et on peut zoomer sur des détails (pas trop petit bien-sûr), mais je ne suis pas un spécialiste. Je ne vois d'ailleurs pas trop la différence entre le mode SD et le mode HD. Mais un ami qui a des caméras posées par un professionnel et achetées bien plus chères a été surpris par la qualité.

Con brutto tempo anche per giorni, la batteria non scende mai al di sotto del 75% , con le giornate di sole sempre 100%. Funziona anche con scheda Very. Da casa la gestisco come voglio tramite l'APP UBox da installare sul Cell,( foto, video, microfono e tanto altro ancora ), sul libretto istruzioni è tutto spiegato alla perfezione. Sempre tramite l app per qualsiasi cosa c'è sempre un operatore che risponde a tutte le domande ( in chat ), in caso di dubbi o altro sul funzionamento della telecamera. Assistenza e prodotto superlativo, lo consiglio al 100% e a breve ne prenderò un altra uguale.

When I ordered the Xega Solar Powered Wireless Outdoor Security Camera, I assumed it would be suitable for use as a home security camera which would connect to my wi-fi. However, when I came to set it up, I realised that this was not the case. In fact the camera is intended for use in remote locations where no wi-fi is available and is controlled and monitored via a Sim card in the camera itself. The camera comes with a Sim card for initial set up and a trial period. Continued usage of the Sim card requires an expensive subscription, although other 4G data Sim cards can be substituted. There is an option to access Cloud Storage which is also expensive. Images can also be recorded on a Micro SD Card (not included) which can installed in the camera, if remote monitoring is not required.I managed, with some difficulty, to set the camera up using a spare 4G Sim card. Although, the camera came with a manual, I found this confusing in places. Once set up, various camera functions are easy to access via the Ubox app and images are very clear. However, I don't have a remote location that I am able to monitor, so I can't comment on its performance at any great distance. Due to this lack of need for remote monitoring, I have not extensively tested the cameras capabilities. However, I feel, in the right location it would be a really useful surveillance device. I have no use for it at present, but will hang on to it in case the need arises in the future.The camera is well made and appears robust. Solar powered with a solar panel that can be mounted directly onto the camera or separately connected by the provided 1 metre USB-C cable.Overall, the Xega Solar Powered Wireless Outdoor Security Camera is an ideal self contained camera for monitoring a remote location.
