Osprey Hydraulics Bite Valve Cover Unisex Reservoir Accessory O/S

Just take the bite valve off and this fits straight on and put the bite valve back with no interference. When you put the cover over the valve, you do need to 'click' it into place - I spent the first day with it flapping around and not staying over the valve so thought it was a waste of money. Seems well made, I paid around £12 which is a bit steep but if I put my pack down I don't want the valve touching anything on the ground, so it does do the job (once you learn to 'click' it on lol)

Very easy to install and will keep the bite value clean. Shouldn’t have to buy it separately, however.

Purchased for my new bladder. Come on osprey whilst this is a great cap to keep bite valve clean, why not include with the bladder in the first place.Have to remove the valve to fit but is a snug fit. Essential for the Seral 7 waist pack as when you remove the pack the valve always fall to the floor collecting grit etc which has to be cleaned before use.Essential but expensive.

Image used in ad is misleading. Nearly didn’t buy it because it shows a black cover. Cover is actually the same grey as the rest of the bits of the bladder. I have the Hydraulics LT 1.5ltr.To install (please see images)1) pull off the rubber bite bit, may need to twist and pull.2) push the ring over the valve leaving a gap where the end of the rubber bite bit will sit.3) push rubber bite bit back in place.Cover clicks in place keeping the rubber bite bit securely clean.

Doesn’t seem to fit with my osprey 3L bite valve which is disappointing…. Is this genuine??
