Good quality
I didn't know how much I liked these until I got some that weren't nearly as good. It was then that I realized that these are really nice.We got the kids a table for Christmas and wanted a bunch of balls to play with. We chose this big pack.I don't know if it's the balls or what but my skills are pretty good. My teenage son was kind of shocked that mom could take him quite often.Of course the bravado would come out in statements like, "I was taking it easy on you." "Of course, I let you win." Yeah right!Nice item.

For the beginner player these are great
We are not serious ping-pong players. In fact these are just as likely to be hit with a book or a placemat as they are by a paddle.... please consider that when reading this review. These have been great balls for us. They bounce consistently, roll pretty true and, so far, we have not broken a single one.I couldn't tell you the difference between a one star and a three star ball, but as far as I am concerned it's 5 stars from me for these.

Good balls
These are basic table tennis balls. They bounce, they fly, they get lost in the garage just the same as any other balls. Good product

SPINSTRIKE compared to Penn
I'm a casual ping pong player. I'm not sure whether I could tell the difference between 1-star and 3-star balls, but I did 3 things to test these, comparing them to Penn brand 3-star balls. The Penn balls had been lightly used and the SPINSTRIKE ones were new. Here are the results:Bounce: When holding the balls 3 feet above the table, the SPINSTRIKE bounced slightly higher than the Penn. My guess is the difference is attributable to the fact that the Penn ones had been used.Roll: The Penn has an almost imperceptible wobble when rolling. It's pretty smooth. The SPINSTRIKE had a more noticeable wobble. Sometimes it would curve quite a bit more than the Penn during the roll.Play: My family played with the SPINSTRIKE ball, and nobody noticed any difference between that ball and the Penn.If I were buying for serious play, I'd buy the Penn ones again, only on the basis of less wobble during rolling. But for casual play, these work well, and are a good value compared to the Penn balls.

Love these ping pong balls!
These are great! We dumped them out and tried every one of them, they are very consistent - all nicely shaped and they feel like high quality balls! They have a little bit of grip to them the texture is nice for spinning on a serve or return - I don’t feel like the grandkids are going to ruin them by hitting them hard like some lower quality balls we have tried in the past.

Reasonable price on some good-quality balls
My background: I enjoy table tennis and have played for about 60 years, but I would consider myself no more than a keen recreational player. With that out there... this is a reasonable price on some good-quality table tennis balls. The balls are well made to ITTF standards. I compared the weight of a half dozen of them with some Olympic-game-quality balls from another manufacturer and they came in weighing the same. These Spinstrike balls perform well, spinning smoothly and have the same bounce as those Olympic balls. The reason that I am giving these balls four (rather than five) stars is that while the manufacturer claims that these balls are made to ITTF standards (and they appear to be, by my measurements), the balls are not ITTF approved. I'll happily use these balls for practice and for informal basement games, but would prefer to have an ITTF-approved ball for a tournament. But despite this minor qualm, I'm pleased to have these Spinstrike table tennis balls and to recommend them; the dozen that I got are well made and they represent good value.
