Black CubeQuick Release Cookware, Saucepan with Lid, 8-Inch/2.5 Quart

I have owned several of Frielings' products for many years, and have never had an issue. I own several types of cookware and my favorite is the 2.5 qt. It is just big enough to hold sauces, puddings, soups, and all around a perfect size pot for leftovers for me. I have heavy weight stainless cookware, but sometimes I did wish I could find one that is non-stick. Frieling came up with this wonderful Black cube line. This is a beautiful, highly polished exterior, medium weight saucepan, with the black cube on the bottom and slightly up the sides, exactly where you might have scorches. I have only hand washed this pan and the food releases easily. The ergonomic handle makes this saucepan easy to lift and I've not had any issues with heat transfer to the handle.Bottom line, is that I do own several of Freilings products, including this saucepan, and I have never been unsatisfied, I think it would be impossible to find fault in their products. My French Press coffee pots are heavy weight, we do miss the glass, but it doesn't shatter. The filters can be found on Amazon. My frypan has earned it's place in my home, as well as the 2.5 qt. saucepan. This manufacturer is one you can count on for making very high quality cookware, and I will take this saucepan to the grave with me.

Love Black Cube cookware! These are the best pans I have ever owned. The clean up is simple, they wipe out easily. They cook evenly and I can use any type of utensil with them - metal or plastic. I’ve used these for over 2 years and none of my pans have peeled. They still look new. They are lightweight. I searched a long time for pans that made cooking and cleanup easy, and this is it. I wish they made more styles and sizes. I would definitely recommend Black Cube!

OMG what a mess! I cleaned pan as instructed and cooked some long grain white rice for a dish I was preparing. Rice cooked perfectly BUT there was a thin layer of PLASTIC peeling up from bottom of pan!!!! Needless to say my meal was ruined! Who would think that a good scrubbing wouldn’t remove this crap?? I’m appalled.
