Fantastic! Great alternative to just icing

I absolutely love this product. I workout on a regular basis, and a few months ago I began to develop severe pain that radiated from my elbow down to my wrist. Eventually the pain became so intense that even the most basic tasks began to hurt me. I went to see a physical therapist and found out that what I was experiencing was a mild case of tennis elbow, as well as a slight build up of scar tissue in the muscles in my forearm. They were able to work out the muscles and the tendons after 3-4 visits. I was ok for a while but recently the pain started to come back a little. I knew I needed a way to keep my muscles loose, then I came across this product. It has helped so much in alleviating the pain I typically feel following certain workouts. It stays cold for hours, and the rolling sphere design allows you to really roll out the underlying tissue. At $25 or so, it’s certainly better than dropping money on a physical therapist.

I love using this little device. It is comfortable to hold, and rolls pretty smoothly on the skin. It's small so it can be easily stored away. You can use it over clothing as well but it may get caught. Nothing too bad though. My concerns/cons is 1) that when you want to warm it up you have to dip it in hot water, and the water gets trapped inside the crevices where the silver ball lies so it could potentially grow mold. There is no way to open it to clean it or let it air out. 2) It leaves the skin smelling very metallic after use. It's a bit off putting, but it's not necessarily a deal breaker for me.

Life saver!! Had breast lift surgery and due to my “t-rex” arms my neck, back, and shoulders were seizing and the pain was unbearable. My husband wrapped this up in a heating pad to warm it up and then used it on my body. It brought instant relief and my husband said it was easy for him to use vs a massage with his hands and thumbs as they get sore. So he was able to actually massage me for a length of time with out feeling discomfort in his hands.

Purchase this item for neck pain relief. I find that after keeping it in the freezer to achieve the desired coldness the the roller ball does not roll around as smoothly inside its plastic casing. It's sort of gets jammed and pulled on the skin in the process of using it. This has happened every single time I try to use it out of the fridge. Also after a while the plastic casing does not prevent your hand from getting uncomfortably cold, I wish the plastic was either thicker for have some sort of silicone layer to prevent this from happening. I have had an identical massager in the past that was much cheaper and fully plastic, I wonder now if I could have stuck it into the fridge and achieve the same results. I sort of feel like this roller is not meant to be used cold but is being advertised as though it is. ( I'm saying this because of the lack of smooth functionality) It is very nice when it's used overall but not cold. So im not sure that its worth the price.

I used this for the first time today and love it. I put it in the freezer for a few days, just because I did not need it. I have been rolling it on my knee and side of my quad for about 30 minutes and it is still nice and cold. I suggest that if it feels like it is no longer as cold, move to a different location and then go back to the area you were working on. This did great on both my knees. I figure I might as well do the other as maintenance. My right knee is always giving me problems and it doesn't help that I insist on running, so I work on it to try to keep it from getting angry. There are no instructions, so I found in order to get the ball out of the holder to freeze, I had to poke a hole in the bottom and push the ball out. There did seem to be a spot about as big as the tip of your thumb that was meant to be depressed, but I have no idea. So my only small complaint would be give some instruction. Otherwise, I am glad I brought it and prefer it to an ice pack. It is easy grip and the only thing you have to remember is not to overwork the area because you will want to keep going. The ball is still cold as I write this and it has been about 45 minutes out of the freezer. I think next I will try it on the ball of my feet.

Amazing! Worth every penny! I had terrible plantar fasciitis and nothing worked. I used this product one time and the pain was almost completely gone the following day.
