Fun thought but that’s about it
It’s a fun idea, has 2 sets of cooking plates for different vehicles. It’s easy to clean, heats up fast, and is a lot of fun to put the vehicles together. On the downside: I think it should come with a regular waffle option, even if the price is higher. it’s hard as hell to perfectly pour the batter in order for the different shapes all come out correctly. The different shapes and sizes all take different times to cook so all the littles are done much longer before the big “main” pieces of the vehicle. Other than my pickiness; this is a wonderfully fun way to start a morning with the kiddos!

Don't bother
The shapes don't come out like intended and 5 cooks later the waffles still tastes like burning plastic or something would not buy another one

Smells terrible when turned on
This product worked ok, but it made a ton of concerning noises. It also made our entire house smell like we would get cancer from the fumes…

Love this!
This is such a cool and creative waffle maker! I love how well the car shapes come out, and my kids have so much fun making them and putting them together. It’s super easy to clean up as well, as the waffle molds are removable. It makes perfectly cooked waffle cars!

Cool concept for waffles
I was intrigued by the idea of having a waffle maker that allows me to act like a kid by playing with my food. This particular waffle maker is simple to use, easy to eject the plates, and clean up is a no brainier. Just don't use abrasive tools or scrubbers on the waffle iron plates or the unit. I admit, the concept of using parts from the waffle iron plates to build vehicles was pretty cool but this required more effort than necessary to build a simple delivery car. Also, expect to make a mess when trying to keep the batter inside the plate lines. I used Krusteaz for the batter and followed the waffle making instructions but halfing the recipe, which made enough for two full iron plate impressions. It's a good idea to use a nonstick spray on the plates before adding the batter. The only negative was one side of the cooked impressionswere very pale while the other was way darker. Otherwise, after building up some cars (this waffle making kit has two plastic car body supports for the car pieces and wheels), it was time to plate and eat. The parts are really fluffy so one full plate of vehicle impressions was more than enough to make me full. For me, I'm inclined to fill the impression plate without making cool cars, tanks, etc in the end, just so I can enjoy eating a unique multi-shaped type of waffle instead.
