Lovely looking clock, well made and quite a weight, not at all flimsy ! Already had two of my mates wanting to buy it off me !

The clock is made in Germany out of decent metal compared to the normal plastic these days. It has the standard basic AA powered clock movement behind the face and keeps good time. BTW, it's a small detail, but there are no traditional 1 thru 12 numbers on the front. Not a big deal but something to be aware of.Now.....the shipping. My problem is with DHL shipping. Amazon, chose to ship this in a shipping bag which provided no protection instead of a carboard box. It shipped from Poland, then to Germany, then to LA and ultimately to my house in Vancouver Washington.....in a BAG!! There was a major dent to the cardboard around the clock so I'm lucky it wasn't damaged.DHL said it was going to be delivered on 11/14 between 8 and 10PM and it was signature required!!! For a $50 clock?? So, we waited around wondering when it would show up and then at 11PM. we got an email that said there was a delay and it would be delivered on 11/15. I chatted DHL and they were as rude as it gets. Didn't give me any explanation other than the driver had as "issue" and was there anthing else they could do for me. Today, it was literally tossed on my front porch, according to my doorbell cam....NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED and the bell wasn't even rung!!!DHL is the worst......I'm hoping the clock work better than DHL does :/
