Forever Mine: Forbidden, second chance romance. Part two of The Temptation Series.

Started with Forever Young, then immediately bought Forever Yours and then Forever Mine. (What would I do without ebooks?!?!)I was sooo involved with these characters that I had to force myself to put the book down to go to sleep. One night it was 4 am. Last night when I finally finished Forever Mine, it was 6 AM.The relationship between Steph and Cal is one that you have either have experienced or wish you had. The emotions are honest, the storyline not always happy, but there is always the unbreakable thread of their love from beginning to end.Can’t wait to read Cal’s Journal !

Saw this come across my FYP and went with it, I loved/hated different parts of this book, I think most of it involved the MMC. Still a good read, any book the gets me cheering/hating on a character in book is a win. lol!

Steph and Cal are real people. No mafia, no billionaires, two kids who grew up together, fell in love, then let fear pull them apart only to come together decades later. This last chapter was wrenching, I cried so much. Steph and Cal need each other to complete each other. She grounds him and he allows her to fully shine. She is really insecure about her weight after being told her whole life by everyone except Cal that she is too fat. He just sees her and loves all of her, she sees him looking beyond his exterior and putting up with way more than she should because she knows him to his core . I wanted to shake him when he came at her and was so angry, then when he thought she was gone, wow. This series took me back to the best multi book romance series I read in the 80s.

The first book was my favorite the second just felt stuck in a loop. Loved the hot scenes in the second book but I felt repetitive . They were just back and forth with the same sex scenes over and over. No actually story until the end. It also felt like we lost a big peace of the story when we jumped 20 years into the the future in the second book. I thought I had missed a part. Jumping 20 years felt like a waist of Cal and Steph story . I felt cheated out of their younger years.Third book was good just felt stuck in a sex loop again.

Happy closer-i read this entire series in 3 days; I was captivated by Steph & Call. I liked the whole vibe of the second half of the book. As always the characters made me happy, sad, mad, frustrated, and disappointed in their behaviors. I also cried a bit. Enjoy this ended to their love story.

This series is a whirlwind of emotion. Agonizing. Heartbreaking. Aggravating. But I loved it. It gave me The Notebook vibes. These two people love each other so much, their love is consuming, but they can’t seem to find the right time and place to be together. They argue constantly. God did I want to slap some sense into them.Part 2 takes a different path than I expected it to go which made it all the more enjoyable. I knew there was going to be a happy ending because there just couldn't be any other way. But I had no idea how it was going to get there. And there were many times when the main characters drove me up the wall because of their miscommunication and not listening to each other. As frustrated as I was with them, these flaws made them more relatable than they had been in part 1, to me at least.If this story taught me anything it’s that you shouldn’t settle for something less than what you want and what you deserve. Don’t let 20 years go by before you realize the life you are living is not the one you want. Don’t walk away from someone you love because you are scared. Keep hold of that love. Stay true to yourself. And live.

This one almost destroyed me with Cals dream but I was so happy that all things ended up working out.

I almost stopped reading this because it got me so worked up! It was an awesome series. I'm happy I read the prequel first.

I couldn’t put the book down the more I read the more I wanted to know it’s been a brilliant series.

I love this relationship it’s so real!!!…I couldn’t wait for my next Steph and Cal fix and it didn’t disappoint. All the highs and lows, the will they won’t they of this relationship make for a need to keep reading…… very relatable, love it and this author!

Omg, this book took me on such an emotional rollercoaster from wanting to bang their heads together to crying. I can't remember when a book was able to do that to me. I related so much to this book.

Wow I have whiplash in a good way. Loved all the miscommunication and the mixed signals. This was a perfect second part in the series. Looking forward to what Annie Charm writes next.
