I've had Foreman grills for 20+ years, starting with the Champ. It was time for a slightly larger grill. I first ordered the newest model, the fully submersible grill, and it was a fail for me. Where the probe stuck into the grill, that made the entire grill feel wonky when you tried to open it. The drip tray was designed all wrong and I had grease leaving both ends when I tried to drain into a jar. When I opened the lid, grease would drip out the back near the probe area. Also I had to use a pot holder just to lift the lid or I got burned. It also never had the green light come on, so I returned it. So glad I did now.This model is PERFECT! The grill plates are easy to remove and reattach, just make sure you get the tabs in the slots. The underneath cord storage is nice. The drip tray is long and easy to pour into a jar. Sure, this only cooks 2 full size burgers at a time instead of 4, but we all know how that goes. Slider-size burgers, maybe you can get 4 on there. What I really love to cook is bacon. I can get 4 full-length bacon strips, and I have quit using my air fryer now, where I have to cut the bacon in half. Nice and crispy bacon. The removable grill plates are easy to clean.

I got this for a gift for my mom. She loves this one way more than her last one because of the removable plate plates. She states that it’s so nice to be able to wash them and clean them so much easier than the old George Foreman’s. Would highly recommend

I saw this grill in a WatchMojo.com video titled "Top 30 As Seen On TV Products That Are Actually Worth Buying" and I had to buy it. It's the best purchase I've made this year; it cooks meat and chicken super fast. The grill is easy to clean and convenient.

To start, a few things I didn’t take into account for my review: 1. I knew before buying this that it wasn’t a “4 person” sized grill. 2. No temperature control (my original didn’t have one either). 3. Dual lights, one for power on, one for when it’s at temp. On my original, the light came on when it was plugged in and went off when it was hot. 4. The drip try doesn’t attach to the grill. Again same as my original.I’ve had the original George Foreman grill that I believe came out in “94 or “95 for just about since it first came out, and it’s worked great for me with no problems. It still works, but the coating is starting to come off (and it’s always been a bit difficult to clean anyway), so decided it was time to get a new one.I saw this one with removable plates and after reading reviews for this and other brands, I decided this is the one I wanted. Right out of the box I noticed this one was lighter than my old one (not necessarily a bad thing), what with newer and lighter materials and all. I took it to the kitchen, read the instructions and plugged it in for the initial “burn in”. I made sure to turn on my range hood exhaust first!! Washed it, dried and put it back together.The cord is shorter than my original one, but most new appliances have shorter cords for safety reasons. The grill plates are definitely slick, they are non-stick after all. Some foods (Ie. frozen) do have a tendency to slide forward when you first put them on, but I found if you hold them in place for a few seconds, they stay in position so you can close the top half. The non-stick surface works great. I made a grilled cheese (with too much cheese), so of course it oozed out onto the grill and browned, but wiped right off with no problem. Being removable, they’re much easier to clean.The reasons for not giving it five stars… it doesn’t seem to get as hot as my original. It doesn’t heat and brown as evenly, probably due to the fact that the plates are thinner. Lastly, and this is trivial, it doesn’t come with a slotted spatula. Not a big deal, as I still have the one that came with my original. Plus, you can buy ones on Amazon if you really want one.

This thing is amazing for the value. I do feel it's made of cheap material and possibly not very durable. I didn't expect anything amazing for the price. It cooks great if what you're cooking is somewhat thin. I mainly bought mine for fish fillets which it works great for. I do wish there were a slightly lower heat setting. It doesn't smoke, but it does let off a lot of steam. This steam creates a bit of mess on the part vents from. The design makes it a bit difficult to clean where the steam ejects. Color is fine.

This George Foreman grill cooks quickly and evenly with excellent non-stick plates and easy grease collection. Versatile for meats, sandwiches, vegetables, and more. Cleanup is effortless with removable drip tray. Compact size fits small spaces perfectly. Excellent for busy households or apartment living!

This is exactly what I need! It's the right size and it's also easy to clean. I am very happy with my purchase, especially since the grill plates can be removed for easy cleaning.
