Great knife block, looks lovely and the magnet is nice and strong to hold our heavy knives.

the base is slightly narrow but still does job. you can fit knives to both sides. magnet is fairly strong, although dont seem to go right to edge

This is just great. I'm in two minds whether I should've gone for a wall magnetic strip of this, but that's my own kitchen layout, for what this is, it absolutely works and look great. Someone mentioned the magnetic didn't work near the edges, I found it did, as well as it could be expected, I mean wood can't be magnetic, so I'm not sure what some people are expecting here (it's a metal plate inside a wooden case basically).

This is a beautiful looking knife holder and it does look smart however a few things to be aware of... The magnet appears strong however it does not support the weight of my 8" Chef knife which is 274g, this slides down the side of the board and ends up resting on the tip, I will, like another reviewer has mentioned, place padding along the bottom to protect the tip but this is disappointing to have to do this.Another thing to be aware of, if your knives have an external handle which creates a lip, it is unlikely you will have any issues with this board as the lip of the handle rests on the top of the block by way of support however, if like me you are using knives with a moulded handle (Global, Flint & Flame etc.) where there is no lip of the handle, these do not hold well and in my opinion are actually a little unsafe. As I do not have children, I am not overly concerned however the thought of my pairing knife falling off on a child is not worth the risk. I can only give this product a 3 start as I am having to make compromises and adaptions, I would have preferred one with a much stronger magnet as I think an 8" Chefs knife is pretty standard.

Love the strength of the magnets on this double sided block. It could be a couple of centimetres taller as the tips of long knives touch the stand which may damage the tips. However I placed a foam strip on the bottom to avoid this. The block easily holds 10 knives and is very useful. Very pleased.

I love this knife holder. It hold more than just knives. I can stick kitchen scissors and knife sharpeners. It’s so easy to use. Easy to clean. It’s very stable and doesn’t move or wobble. Looks sleek and easy on the eyes. The quality of the wood is good too. And it’s not too expensive.
