Great quality and functionality!
It was very easy to use. The quality of the rods was perfect, it had some flexibility but still rigid. It was able to get my vents completely clean. The functionality and design was great. This is a great tool to have!

Cleaning power, durable
My husband said this was easy to assemble, the brush bristles are stiff which allowed for good cleaning, but not too stiff to cause damage. He said the flexibility of the rods was good. The only thing is he wished was that there were different heads with different length bristles. The rod is extremely flexible but stiff enough for control. He liked the storage bag it came with. Overall very good quality.

Works Good
I installed a new washer and dryer this weekend. After a few days of use, my daughter asks, "What does a 'd80' mean on the dryer because It stopped working." In looking at the manual it says my dryer's exhaust is 80% clogged it could cause a fire if there is excess lint build up. I had not cleaned the vent tube for around 10 years and all I could think about is explaining to the fire marshal after my house burnt down that I was too lazy and cheap to clean out my dryer line... So I go on Amazon and find this dryer vent lint brush that arrives the next day and buy it. Now my dryer line is about 20 long from the dryer to the outside exhaust port so I go with the 30 foot version vs the 15 foot one thinking it will clean out my vent with out needing to disconnect the tube in the middle.... I was wrong.. Today brush kit arrived and I start to use it. First thing I notice is the tape that comes with it (to keep the screw fittings from coming unscrewed during use) is pretty terrible and useless, so it goes right into the trash. I start assembling and shoving it down my vent tube in the house... I don't get far when it jams.. with a lot back and forth I pull out some lint blobs, but it's not as bad as I expected. I get about 3 feet of rod in and the tube under house disconnects from all the force.... darn... now I have to go under the house... Under the house I go to the disconnected portion. I can see clearly into the tube now and I notice that the vent is not that blocked. I see just a 1/4 inch layer of lint lining the tube, but I figure I need to clean it anyway. I start jamming the brush down the tube again removing it occasionally to clean out lint. I use duct tape at the screw joints to keep the rod from unscrewing though I am not using a drill but turning by hand. I get about 10 feet in and can't go any further though it's a straight tube. I disconnect about 10' down and find a that brush pushed a huge blob of lint down the tube and now it is blocking progress. I clean that out and finish the job. No more d80 error... no house fire.. the world is good until the next thing in the house breaks... which doesn't take too long to happen... Here are my impressions: 1) This gets the job done. No need for anything fancier than this one. I thought of getting the one with the vacuum attachments to clean the dryer, but the dryer is new and won't need a cleaning for a long time so I just got the brush. 2) You don't need a super long rod. If you have any build up, you won't be able to push this more than 10 feet at a time any way. Make sure you can access your vent tube in 10 foot (or less) sections due to this issue. I tried going in the opposite direction to push the built up blockage out the disconnected section, but it didn't work. 3) Ideally, the brush would have a "spiral" to it to auger out the lint so you can pull it out when you remove the brush vs pushing it ahead of the brush and causing a jam. See my #2 comment. 4) You don't really need to attach this to a drill to clean out your vent. I just used my hand to rotate this and it did fine. I guess you could use a drill... but not needed. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. Since the lint vent lasted ~10 years before I needed this, I figure this is a low use item. I hope I can find it in 10 years to use it again :). For the $20 I paid for this, likely worth it though the shorter/cheaper one would have gotten the job done just the same. I gave this 4 stars because the super crappy tape and the brush pushed a large majority of the lent forward vs allowing me to pull it out the same hole. It worked for my application fine, but if you have lots bends and/or a long runs of vent in your wall, you may have a different result. Also since it pushed the lint forward causing a jam, this caused my vent tube to break due to the force. Not a huge deal for me as all of my tube can be accessed to repair it, but you may not be so lucky.

Does the job well
Cleaning dryer vents is a dusty drag and I needed a better tool for the job. This one was the right price and was well reviewed I like the easy assembly of the pieces to give you a custom length and the brush was robust enough to dig out the matted lint (ok, so its been a long time since I last cleaned it out) A bonus in this set was a hex bit that screws into any of the segments allowing you to easily chuck it into a drill to get good rotary motion on the brush. Pro tips to minimize clods of lint flying around your place: 1. Get a shop vac (if you have one) ready by the vent outlet 2. Insert the brush a couple of feet (with the drill attached to the hex bit) 3. Insert the nozzle of the vacuum into the vent 4. Push the brush as far as it will go without running the drill 5. Start the shop vac 6. Start the Dryer 7. Run the drill and move the brush up and down in the vent tube. The lint will be blown toward the shop vac nozzle and disposed of. Good luck!

Missing pieces
Product works well, but I didn’t receive all of the listed pieces. Instead of one wide brush and one long brush, I got two of the same wide brushes. No long brush

Easy to use and well worth it !!!
Well made, sturdy connections, and very flexible. The nylon brush was bent from shipping, but dropping it in boiling water straightens it out in seconds [ it says so in the instructions and it works! ] Cleaned my 29 ft dryer vent pipe with multiple twists and turns very easily ! Highly recommend the locking-button type connections that this product uses vs. the screw-on type connections offered by similar products - this way you can't mess it up in case you put your drill in reverse. This design lowers the risk of losing the brush somewhere inside the vent pipe - but, you need to test the connections to make sure everything is sturdy and snug before using - then you're good to go! I found that cleaning from the outside - in with the dryer running on no-heat is the way to go - and from the inside - out after disconnecting the piece that connects to the dryer using a shop vac to minimize dust. After putting this off for years, I'll be doing this every year or so from now on. There's no excuse not to anymore !

AMAZING
My husband called this tool "amazing"!!! He couldn't believe all that came out of the vents...and this is after we cleaned them partially (couldn't reach without this tool).

My dryer vent pipe was hopelessly plugged. The dryer is in the middle of a finished basement, with about 20 feet of pipe to the outside, all buried inside of the walls or ceiling. After trying several other tools, I saw this on Amazon for a very low price and a one-day delivery. The shaft is very flexible and it easily negotiated about 5 sharp bends. It attaches to my power drill with a hex adapter. It slowly chewed its way through the plug of lint. I stuck my vacuum hose in to clear up the loosened lint and suddenly it let go. I did one more pass to scrub the inside of the pipe. Now the dryer is working much less hard and drying clothes much faster. Not worried about a lint fire. Good design, very well constructed. A successful transaction.

Unfortunately upon use of this item, the brush broke right off and stuck in the dryer vent. Caused me to have get a contractor in to remove it. Not worth the purchase

Sticks are too soft to hold down the duct unless the duct is straight. Most ducts are corner. Don’t waste your time and money.
