Will the device cease to function?** A: Dear G: As soon as the Manufacturer goes out of business your device will explode and mankind on this planet will cease to exist. This is good as life without my LaMetric Time is hard to imagine. To be serious: your device will continue working as the apps are developed independently. **Q: Does this clock dim at night?** A: Hello,You can use the Screen Saver mode to decrease distraction at night. The brightness of the display is decreased to the low level while you sleep, however, you will still see a time on LaMetric once you wake up at night. Also LaMetric Time adjusts the screen brightness automatically depending on current light conditions using the built-in ambient light sensor. **Q: Is the display supposed to be blurry or did I receive a defective unit? It looks like it's out of focus or something.** A: The display does have a blurry look to it. That is how the LED lighting works as the messages are displayed. Still love it though! **Q: if i want to use it a work does have to connect to the companies wifi?** A: Some companies (like mine) explicitly prohibit hotpot usage. Thankfully, they provide a corporate WiFi solution. If you want to use this at work, see if there is a client WiFi you can connect to. Always check with your I.T. policies too as to what kind of connected devices you are allowed to have in the workplace. ## Frequently Bought Together - LaMetric TIME Wi-Fi Clock for Smart Home - Social Media Counter - Cinema Lightbox - Digital Alarm Clock with Weather - Retro Pixel Art Bluetooth Speaker with 37x8 LED Display - Time Timer 3 inch Visual Timer — 60 Minute Kids Desk Countdown Clock with Dry Erase Activity Card and Desktop App Access — for Kids Classroom, Homeschool Study Tool, Task Reminder, Home and Kitchen --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/56897632-lametric-time-wi-fi-clock-for-smart-home-social-media](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/56897632-lametric-time-wi-fi-clock-for-smart-home-social-media) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
