Works great!
We purchased this for our 14yr old daughter who had injured her finger in a game. We weren't sure if it was broken or just badly sprained. She loved how well this secured her finger, but also let her easily take it on and off when showering or washing her hands. She did wear it sometimes while washing. Even getting it wet, it was much easier to dry than having a bandaged finger that needed rewrapped. It is flexible in sizing to accommodate differing finger thickness. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Unfortunately Useless
I bought this frog splint for trigger finger because several medical sources recommended frog splints over any other kind. It should have tipped me off that no drug store chain seems to carry them in store. This is essentially useless.I had measured carefully, and the stated length was going to be perfect. The problem is that the splint is curved enough that it's effectively much shorter than the measurement. If you look carefully at the photo, you'll notice that they're showing someone wearing it with the tip of their finger over the end of the splint. With the curve of the splint this is impossible in real life unless, like in the photo, you've got your finger floating over the splint instead of wearing it properly. Because the splint's so short, it's leaving at least half an inch between the end of the splint and the end of my finger, which means my finger isn't being stopped from bending. The photo also shows the frog "arms" gently bending around the finger, not quite meeting. Nope. This is only possible because the finger in the photo isn't touching the actual splint. In real life the arms are waaaaaaaaay too long, and very stiff. You end up with two metal triangles sticking straight up, pinching the heck out of your finger while still somehow not keeping the splint firmly on.There's a reason that the drug store chains don't carry these. Take the hint and try something else. (I've actually had the best luck so far with a splint I hacked up myself by cutting a couple of panels out of a dollar store plastic hair curler, folding it a bit, and stuffing it inside of a finger sleeve.)

Perfect!
This finger splint is very effective. I needed something to keep my middle finger from bending due to an injury. After wrapping the arms around to place the piece snug my finger never moved. I have been wearing for a week and i can take it off and on easily without it losing the fit and I can easily tighten if it does seem to get loose. This is a standard medical device for fingers and it was just as needed and I am happy with is and so is my middle finger!!!

Wrong size? Huge on my finger. Splint is sturdy, works alright
Pretty sure they sent a large, not a medium like I ordered. It's HUGE on my (female) index finger, but I can't wait several days to get a different one, and it's non-returnable. I wanted a spare in case the other gets wet/dirty/breaks. I bent it with pliers so it kind of works. See pics for comparison to the one I got from dr.Wish I could find the same product but smaller, and made with plastic instead of metal for showering and comfortable temperature. Metal quickly cools/heats, so it becomes freezing cold to the touch in an air conditioned house.

Works fine
Wasn't quite what I hoped, but I made it work. I wanted to keep my finger from bending completely, but the brace isn't as long as I wanted in order to extend into palm area. I just put it on backwards, so the part that supports the finger tip/nail area now extends into the palm thereby completely immobilizing the finger, yet it leaves the finger tip open making it possible to still grab light items. I secured it with a simple self stick type of wrap and am able to pull/slide it on and off as needed without having to re-wrap.

I noticed every morning when I woke up my middle finger was locked into a downward position, not only was it uncomfortable to wake up to but also scary considering at the time I had never heard of such a thing! I researched online what could possibly be happening and ways to prevent it from locking up again in my sleep and this product came highly recommended. I wore this to bed for a few weeks and the brace prevented my finger from locking up to the point I no longer needed it and haven't had a problem since! I'm so glad I found this!

Too small
The splint was too small and found that it could not be returned. In the garbage it went.
