Exceptionally good product. Connected farmers house receiving 4G internet to AI milking parlor 400 yards away. Very easy install, alignment and setup. Highly recommend.

Excellent Product
Working from home, I moved my office into the garage at the end of my garden and needed solid, reliable internet so I purchased two of these. I attached one to the outside of the house connected to my router pointing directly at the other which I attached to the garage connected to a small network switch. With the solid 300Mbps wireless connection the computers in the garage now get the same internet speed as if they were plugged directly into the router and faster than I was getting on the 2.4Ghz wifi in the house.I also got my SkyQ minibox to work over the wireless link in the garage so i can stream TV when not working.overall, very pleased. would recommend for anyone in a similar position.

It works...really well. You need to know how to cable CAT5/6 and be okay at DIY.
I had been using a Powerline adapter kit to get data down to my summerhouse (40 yards from my house) and it kind of worked but they aren't really a good solution. The Netflix app for Windows wouldn't run as it determined the bandwidth too narrow to stream so I had to run it through the browser which is a bore. I was able to stream 720p from my server in the house but not 1080p.This fantastic device cures all ill's and helps de-clutter. Previously my Powerline fed a cabled connection to an access point to provide WiFi in the summerhouse but that is now not necessary. The signal strength is so good any WiFi enabled device can connect to it as if there was an access point still in the room. If you still require wired connections you can use an access point with RJ45 ports configured as a WiFi client to receive the signal. If you've ever configured an access point and know your way around IP addressing then you won't find this a problem. The instruction manual is basic but helpful and walks you through attaching it to your network and configuring a basic, common AP setup via it's web managed front end. Once you've given it an available IP address on your network you access it through your browser the same as a router or managed switch. It doesn't come with a mounting kit. I used a Labgear TV Aerial Loft Fixing Kit from Screwfix, (item 34394) for £4.69 which works a treat. Then it's just a straight cabling job into your nearest switch/router.ONLY slight niggle is that it's voltage requirements differ to most common POE switches. I plugged it into my Netgear 8 port switch and the voltage wasn't enough so I had to use the POE injector supplied. That's the missing 5th star, but I really give this a 4.5 out of 5.If you have line of sight from your network location to a remote location that has power but no data, this is THE best solution available for under £200.I'll put more info up if time shows wrinkles.

If you enjoy constant WiFi dropouts and very low speeds this is for you
Easy to setup using the Omada web gui that’s where the good ends. Slow and unreliable WiFi. I have ripped out all of my TP-Link eap access points and replaced with Ubiquiti. Never again will I buy nor recommend TP-Link access points

I have to keep resetting every 24 hours
I can't say this was easy to set up, when you have no idea what you are doing. But like all things, once you get use to it, setting it up isn't that hard. My problem is, no matter what settings I put in, without fail ever 24 hours, and it is only covering a distance of 30 meters I have to go and reboot. Which is a real pain, as it does not remember your user name and password, plus your internet browser throws a security wobbly each time you go onto the web page. This has not really solved my problem, I think the only answer is to run a wire unless some bright spark can tell me what is wrong!
