Nice and bright, consistent, and works actually way down to about 2V (at reduced brightness of course) and operates up to about 15V, where the forward current is still trimmed to less than 15mA by the onboard transistor. I have used these as indicator lights for a number of projects ranging from pathway lights used at night time events to low voltage indicators to using one as a signal source to run a current amplifier flashing bigger LED chains. So far they are consistent in their performance and cost way less than assembling them by hand with discrete T1-3/4s

I'm happy with the quality. Electrically sound it tolerates a wide DC voltage input. The flashing feature has lots of uses. I bought them to add Lights and signals to a HO model train layout.

Model Railroad hobbiest here. Great for HO Scale locomotive head lights. They come prewired with resistors. They fit directly into the headlight slot even if you’re missing a lens.
