Excellent for dysautonomia nausea
Absolutely brilliant. My 10 year old daughter has had nausea day in and out for a year from dysautonomia. This gadget actually works! It’s giving her much needed respite from intense suffering. I couldn’t be more grateful.

Well worth the money
Really helpful and less obvious than other bands as it looks like a fitness watch. Bit fiddly to get in the right place but worth the effort. Keeps charge well and recharges quickly

Great product
Not sure if it is placebo or not but don’t really care, definitely makes a difference to my motion sickness which is truly awful and has been debilitating, still use with a combination of tablets and ear stickers but forgot it on a journey recently and noticed that it was worse not having it, would definitely buy again

Game changer for motion sickness sufferers
I suffer from motion sickness triggered by buses, rear seat travel in cars and roller coasters and have worn this multiple times for all 3 over the last 24 months or so. It completely stops all sickness for car and bus travel and has significantly reduced but not completely eradicated the thrill ride induced motion sickness on the 3 Disney / Universal trips I have taken it on. Have since purchased another one for a family member

It works!
Brilliant!!! I have suffered from vertigo , sea sickness and car sickness for years. After 3weeks of sickness again I was at my wits end . Never heard of this but was willing to try anything. Within a couple of hours the difference was amazing. Having 3 weeks of not being able to even go in a car I went on a 4hour car journey the next day . Incredible. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

DANGEROUS UNSAFE PRODUCT
Terrible product. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS DO NOT BUY. i used it on the lowest setting (number 1) and immediately had an allergic reaction, it's not hypoallergenic like it says and it gave me chest pains and made my whole arm go numb. my lips started to go blue aswell.. it's a complete rip off. £100 for this is a scam and I don't think this is truly approved by the FDA i think it's false advertising. DO NOT BUY OR USE THIS even the lowest setting feels like sticking your finger in a socket.

It works! Brilliant little gadget.
I would give this 10 stars if I could. All my life I have been sick in planes and I’ve tried everything - hypnosis, fear of flying course, tablets, patches, sitting on paper, stronger drugs from the doctors and I’m still always sick. I went away recently to Egypt and tried this watch. I wore the patches also and took sickness tablets and I wasn’t sick. I turned the watch on when I got to the airport and turned it to setting two when I got in the plane. Five hour flight there and six back with some mild turbulence and nothing - didn’t reach for the bag once. This watch is a life changer for me and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Expensive but so very very worth it.

It works!
Bought this with a little scepticism but as I have always suffered from sea sickness despite the price tag I decided to give it a go due to the positive reviews. Just got back from Norway where we experienced some choppy seas. The band worked for me! So pleased I made the purchase, I travel twice a year to Spain and often can’t leave the cabin so this was a completely new experience.

I’m very prone to motion sickness in cars and even with driving at night with the lights. Having a history of vertigo, I’m very sensitive to feeling sick. This watch has been a true lifesaver. I can go about daily activities without worrying about feeling nauseous. When I was pregnant, this was really helped take the edge off any morning sickness that I had in the first trimester. I’ve since recommended this to a tonne of new Mums who have all been very grateful. I’m so glad this technology exists. The lights on the watch are very bright though if you’re using it at night, which I do. I use two layers of black tape to cover it. It’s not pretty, but who cares when you can function!

As a child, always carsick/airsick/train-sick/seasick. Runs in the family. Tough, since we were always traveling. Worse for our mom, who always had to clean up after us. Dad never got sick, just disgusted with us. Military man! Have had 24 hour migraines/headaches for decades, after numerous head injuries & car accidents. Tried all sorts of medications and therapies, endured countless side effects and expenses. Don’t know which was worse? Neurologist suggested I try an eTens for headaches. I’m using the Headaterm made by this same company, EmeTerm (Canadian) who makes the Explore. Since the headache device is giving me great results - significantly fewer migraines than ANY medication EVER, I thought I’d try their nausea device, the Explore, since it’s the same technology. I’ve been using the Explore for about 2 weeks, and wow! I’ve gone from nausea all the time to none. I mean no nausea AT ALL. That’s absolutely amazing. No more living on Zofran or Dramamine, with feeling dull, brain-dead and constipated. Or the patches for nausea (awful, forget enjoying a vacation - you’re in bed sleeping, or so high you can’t function), or ginger- when you’re nauseated? Yuck! Only makes you even more nauseated. The trick with the Explore is to position it 2-fingers away from the crease in your wrist. Tight enough to feel the tingle & vibration in your fingers. I set at level 1, and go up to no more than level 2 (for me). If it’s too strong, you’ll not wear it. Everyone’s different, so don’t give up too easily. Do you want to go back to feeling nauseous? NO!! You can adjust as you need to. As nausea sets in, go up a level by just pressing the button once for up, twice for down a level. Since my nausea is all the time, I leave it on my wrist, keep it turned on hours.. Left wrist is the best for me. I bought the Apple watchband that works for the Explore in combination with the Apple Watch, to wear them together. The watch on the top of your wrist, the Explore on the accupressure points on the back of your wrist. I don’t always use the gel, but when I do, I need to turn the intensity down a notch. If the intensity is too powerful on any setting, two presses to turn it down. Breathe. You want to feel it, but it shouldn’t cause discomfort. Stick with it. Your brain needs time to adjust. It will become part of your rhythm. Like breathing. I use it for anxiety and insomnia, too, because pain keeps me up. I’m fused my entire neck down past my shoulder blades, front & back of my spine. Rods, plates, lots of screws and staples. The subtle signal helps me regulate my breathing so I can fall asleep. I know other reviewers have mentioned this, too. This device is well worth the small expense. The quality is there, it’s made to withstand water, you can wear in the shower. The battery lasts days & days. Charges very fast, with USB-C charging cords. They give you two charging cords - a thoughtful gift! The watchband included is soft & flexible. The apple watchband I got I like, too, & do recommend if you don’t want to wear a device on each wrist. I do recommend the EmeTerm Explore. What do you have to lose? Nausea? Does anyone who suffers from nausea like it? No one I know. My family wanted me to be the guinea pig. Now they are ordering their own. They are a tough crowd to please, believe me.

Ok...so this is one of the best investments I have ever made. I have suffered from motion sickness (thanks, Dad!) since I was tiny. I was known for vomiting in the car on trips. I wanted to be a pilot but couldn't fly because I would get sick as soon as the wings tipped. I avoided travelling for many years...I am now 51 years of age and have done 3 flying holidays in the last few years, and this is purely thanks to the EMETERM! I have flown without ANY nausea at all - see my smile in the photo!!! I couldn't believe it! I still don't enjoy the flying experience, but not having vomited or feeling sick and worried the whole time is so good. I have confidence that I can travel now without any concerns. I also trialled it while my son was learning to drive. I was playing games on my phone, wearing my Emeterm, while he was driving! I couldn't even look at my phone or message anyone without instantly feeling nausea! Do I recommend? 100%!!! Get it, it will change your life if you suffer from motion sickness! It truly works. I have recommended this to many friends!

The EmeTerm Explore is a well-designed device, which is seems to be effective in naturally preventing nausea due to motion sickness or vertigo. That is, it is an alternative, or perhaps complimentary, to using medication and, as such, worth trying out. Upon opening its box, the EmeTerm was presented with clean and careful packaging, already showing a quality appearance. Along with the charging cable, conduction gel, and cleaning wipes, the included pouch is really nice for storage! Wearing the EmeTerm, it is non-irritating and comfortable, akin to wearing a smart watch, and the strap has many holes that should allow adjustment for all wrist sizes. Turning the device on, I initially could not feel the electrical pulses. After emailing customer support, I received a quick reply explaining how environmental conditions may cause the skin of the wrist to experience electrical stimulation differently; weak stimulation is due to dry skin. Taking their suggestion to use the included conductive gel, I applied a thin layer to my wrist and then noticed that I could feel the electrical pulses as described! Moreover, level 3 (out of 5 maximum) was sufficient and comfortable for me. As a tip, a very thin layer of the gel applied either to the small contact area of the wrist, or to the electrodes of the device, is effective; there is no need to apply a thick layer or too much gel. So, the small tube of the included gel should last a relatively long time, and more is available to purchase on Amazon. The electrical stimulation provided by the EmeTerm not only seems effective in its nerve transmission, but it is distracting, which could be another reason why this device is effective in preventing or alleviating nausea brought on by motion sickness. Although I rarely get motion sickness, I tried to instigate vertigo in an airplane, car, and even a full-motion simulator, and I did not experience nausea where I otherwise should have! Overall, the EmeTerm is worth giving a shot, especially being a non-medication alternative, at the reasonable price, and with great customer support!
