Mayco's Fundamentals Underglaze has consistent color that fires to a matte finish. For use on greenware or bisque and they have a firing range from cone 06 to cone 10. They can be applied in various techniques and can be diluted to use like watercolor. Colors are intermixable and are food safe when topped by a clear glaze. This set of 12 colors in 2oz jars includes China White, Bright Yellow, Orange, Fire Engine Red, Dragon Red, Regal Purple, Bright Blue, Kings Blue, Apple Green, Leaf Green, Chocolate & Jet Black.

Good colors
I got these to color match a brand of glaze that has been discontinued. They're good replacements and have good pigmentation.

Not great colors
This is a good deal for a reason. Only the darkest brightest colors are any good. The green is very ugly. Three coats of yellow doesn’t even show up on the white.

Love the colors, but lost a good amount of it in shipping
I’ve used the Marco underglazes in the past and love the richness in color. Finally got my own, but when I opened the package, the bright blue was on the box. I lost a good amount of underglaze and I’m pretty upset about it. A little underglaze goes a long way, but a good chunk is now all over the box
