Mediocre
La construction semble solide , mais le système de verrouillage se bloque lors de l utilisation. L usage est du fait compliqué

GREAT HAND-PRUNERS ... (good luck finding replacement parts ...)
I'm a 77-yo farmer ... and I've used many-many hand pruners over the years. Each one has an advantage ... or a disadvantage. This Fiskars model (EA1024) has more advantages than disadvantages. It is sturdy (advantage) ... (there are two other similar models of Fiskars P321 & P341 which are lighter-weight, but have similar features). All 3-models have a "sliding-lock" mechanism which is usable with light-weight gloves ... BUT not so usable with heavy-weight gloves (so some advantage, some disadvantage). It has an "external" spring-return (BIG disadvantage) so you WILL lose the spring when you use it ... [hint: before using these pruners, place the pruner in a bench-vise, simply remove the spring intentionally ... put a small dab of hot-glue on the very end of the spring, and return it into its socket ... wait about 15-minutes for the glue to solidify ... then reverse the pruner in the bench-vise, put some hot glue on the other end of the spring, inserting it into the original receiving-hole for the spring ... and then IMMEDIATELY compress the pruner and lock the handles ... for another 15-minutes .... or even longer ... that way the glue will have a chance to really solidify before you use them). Now ... the sliding-lock mechanism is simple (advantage) ... but ... it's plastic (disadvantage)! Be careful. It's important to note that these 3-models differ slightly in the physical location of the sliding-lock sleeve. The sleeve is located in-line with the rotating-axis of the pruners (advantage) (NOT on the handle ...), but they differ in terms of distance from the center-point of the pivot. This is important ... the closer to the pivot ... the easier it is to operate single-handedly! Also ... the "direction" of the "lock" function matches the direction of inserting the pruner into your sheath (BIG advantage) so you do NOT accidentally "unlock" the handles when inserting the pruner into your holster-sheath. For replacement parts I tried calling Fiskars, but like many manufacturers these days, there is NO HUMAN to reply to your inquiries (BIG disadvantage). I sent Fiskars an email ... now I'm waiting to see what happens using that "cyber" approach," rather than the more "human" approach. Good luck choosing a pruner that meets your needs ... they are a real help when they do what you want ...

Flimsy cheap spring renders product unuseable! Do not buy!
Do not buy this product. The shears have a nice weight, nice strong blades and comfortable handles. The BIG problem is the spring that makes the handles operate properly. See the picture. With about 15 minutes of using my brand new shears the spring popped out and then got twisted out of shape when I tried to prune a branch. I wrestled with the spring constantly while using because it kept disloging. Fiskars made an ALMOST great product BUT ruined it by using a cheap, flimsy, worthless 5 cent spring. Come on Fiskars you can do better than that. What a joke this was.
