Effective and held up well during chemo treatments
I used these to prevent neuropathy in my feet and hands during chemo. My shoe size is a women's 9, and the Large fit best! I passed them along to two others since I finished. They work especially well with dry ice (using thin cotton gloves & socks underneath), but regular ice/freezer is fine too. They have held up well. I removed the liners and hand-washed the fabric part after 6 chemos. I rotated 3 sets about every 30-45 minutes, using dry ice with a foil bag barrier, and had zero neuropathy! As far as the hat goes, it's comfy and held up well. Not washable because the gel is built-in. It keeps your head cool but I wouldn't expect it to prevent hair loss, especially with the harsher chemo regimens. (I used Penguin Cold Caps for that). I think it may help with scalp side effects and preventing severe follicle damage, using at home between treatments, or using in conjunction with other cooling methods. It warms up fairly fast so get multiples and rotate for chemo.

Used for Chemo
Hands and feet stay cold. Cap does get warm rather quickly. If I would start over, I’d get at least two caps and alternate

Good to have
The heal ice pack falls out easily but worth it overall if you are going through chemotherapy. The hat works great with headaches.

Not cold enough for cold capping
The cap isnt cold enough for coldcapping, but it helps with the days that you feel like youre radiating heat. Also helps with hot flashes. Gloves and boots were good. So far neuropathy is minimal.

not good for long treatment
The cooling socks and gloves are freezing in the first 5-10 minutes; it hurts even with a regular pair of cotton socks and gloves on. The cooling effect lasts for about 30-40 minutes. I ordered an extra set of ice packs. It take me about 5 min to change the ice pack inserts during chemo. This product is not convenient for long treatment. I ended up using the ice packs offered by the infusion room because they maintain a consistent cooling effect throughout the 3.5-hour treatment. At the beginning they are frozen and look like bricks. At the end of 3.5-hour use, they are half melted but still feels cold.

Cold therapy socks and hands
My husband started chemotherapy 5 months ago and I bought these in hopes that they would prevent neuropathy in his hands and feet. The package came with detailed instructions on when to keep the ice packs in the freezer and how to store properly. The material for the hands and feet were soft and comfortable to the touch and easy to adjust with the velcro straps. the custom icepacks themselves fit perfectly into the slots in the gloves and socks. We'd happy buy them again but even after 9 months or regular use, they are holding up perfectly.

Excellent quality product. I had also ordered an additional set of inserts to swipe out during chemo to prevent neuropathy. The treatment plan ended up being shorter in duration and the extra set was not needed. I paid Canada Post $30. to mail it back to the US address using the seller’s emailed label from Amazon within the generous return policy time. I followed up to inquire about the refund within the requested 3-4 weeks with Amazon chat providing screen shots of tracking number. I received a reply the next day stating a refund was issued for full amount of the product plus the seller stated they would provide $27. “In good faith” toward the refund for the shipping. I am very pleased with the customer service and the quality products I received.
