You can shut them off by just re entering the plastic bit you pull out of the batteries. They are very good value, the coloured ones last about 24 hours and they flash, but not annoyingly, as they are small, when huddled together with the warm white they are lovely too. Better alternative to Christmas lights/ batteries ect. The reviews I have read for this product are a bit mean I think. I would definitely buy again.

The white ones work fine. The coloured ones are the issue. They are not a static light they flash frantically like you find in light up dog balls. They are not usable in the way I wanted them for and can’t think of any way in which I could use them without making me feel nauseous, as I have a sensitivity to flashing lights. I double checked the descriptions and nowhere does it say they flash and the pictures show colours that I don’t see in the flashing lights

Bought these for camera illusion, rain light and light painting, perfect. Only suggestion is to be able to recharge them as the cost of replacement batteries is dearer than buying the lights again

There is a suggestion in the product info to put these into wine glasses Do not put them into any liquid. They produce a substance from the battery.Also, the coloured lights do not change colour periodically. They flash like disco lights.
