I've had this for years and still love it. Zippers are quality, seams are 100% holding up. The only thing I remember being disappointed with when I first got it was, it isn't really waxed canvas. So it doesn't bead water off like the photo. But it is strong thick canvas, you could apply water repellent to it if necessary. I'm giving it 5 stars anyway because I think it will last forever. Medium size with ext. pocket holds everything I need.

Decent bag for holding your basic bathroom essentials.The elastic toothbrush/razor holders aren't as tight as I'd like them to be (The listing that is khaki colored has the picture of what I'm talking about: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078CK4BVQ/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_3?th=1). After some movement my razor sorta slips out and I have to push it back in, but it's not necessarily doing any harm to anything else that's in the pocket. It could just be an error that varies with each travel bag that's made, but figured I'd mention it still.Now if you're not much of a hipster (like me) and get sick and tired of the weird leather straps at either side of the bag, you can remove them entirely without damaging the bag. Besides unclipping the leather straps, you can remove them along with the weird brass pawn-looking post that's holding them in on top of the bag, on either side of the main zipper. Just unzip the middle main zipper, bend the fabric so it's inside-out on the edge, and you will notice a thin antique colored bit of metal with a Phillip's slot. You get a phillip's screw driver, unscrew that, and the entire post + leather strap comes loose. What's left is a little hole in the leather where the pawn/post originally went in, but it's not too big of a deal--the hole shouldn't be that large, and considering the way leather works, it won't be a gaping hole where objects can fall inside it.

Extremely happy with this product, especially for the price. Multiple pockets and sleeves make organization very versatile, and the canvas is very heavy--should stand up to far more abuse than I would ever put to it. If you use a bunch of product, it could be a bit small. For me, storing normally-sized containers (not 3 oz. travel bottles) of shaving cream, after shave, deodorant, a razor & toothbrush, and pomade stretches the main compartment to the limit. Most of my travel is driving, so I don't use a lot of travel-sized stuff--would be nice to have an extra couple of inches in length. Still, this will be my shaving kit for a decade or two.

I purchased this DOPP kit to replace an old one i purchased from the NEX(the old blue berry version). The problem with my previous was it was air and water tight and would not let anything dry out inside which led it to it developing a smelliness i was not to fond of. So i got on amazon and grabbed this one after about 40 minutes of browsing the options. I have to say, i like it; it has enough storage features to help organize the items i need when out at sea and it fits neatly in one of the small compartments inside of my rack. It isn't water proof so it allows some breathing to take place. So far this sucker has put about 50 days underway and lives exclusively on the ship and has no odor or honestly any negative marks against it. it does exactly what it is for, holding my shaving, hair and tooth items. It does it perfectly.

I travel a lot, so when I decided to upgrade my toiletry kit I took the process seriously and purchased 5 different kits to test. I wanted something that would take up the least amount of space in my carry-on bag, but was efficient to use while on the road.This kit is beautiful, and probably had the most space of the 5 that I tested. In the end, however, I didn't select it for two reasons:* Size: As mentioned, it was the biggest and I didn't want to use that much space.* Layout: For the most part, everything would be put into a single central compartment. While there was plenty of space for all of my stuff, it was just too cluttered-up in there and it was difficult to quickly reach in and pull out what I needed. I found myself fumbling through it.Overall, it's a nice looking kit with plenty of space and at a reasonable cost. If you don't mind digging through it to find your stuff, then this may be a decent bag for you.

Okay first things first, the YKK zippers seem legit, the canvas isn’t bad and there’s plenty of little pockets and compartments for stashing stuff. It also looks nice.Now the odd/bad: this thing is surprisingly loud/noisy. It almost seems like there’s paper inside the lining! I looked for a way to get whatever the heck is inside the lining out but couldn’t determine a way to do this without ripping the seams open; no thanks.The stitching on some of the side compartments seems a bit questionable in regards to robustness as well. I can definitely see myself and other men accidentally man-handling it and ripping it making two compartments into one.But the noise bugs the hell out of me. Whether you like serenity, need to do your morning stuff on the down-low or simply don’t enjoy the sound of crumpling paper, this thing is annoying! I might just throw it in a laundry load to see if I can destroy whatever is making all that noise!

Great toiletry bag with separate sections and elasticized netting to hold things in place. I wish the main compartment opened wider, but other than that, it worked well for my 3 months on the road this summer. You can switch up the strap to be a handle or to cinch down the bag. The zipper is nice and substantial and I’d say overall it is very good value for the money.

I had my old Dopp kit for years and years. It stood ready when I needed to go on a trip. It was packed with the daily stuff needed on a trip and my old one was full and had hardly any room for some things needed now and then. I got this new Dopp kit and took out the stuff in the old one and loaded up the new one and to my surprise I have a good amount of room for more. I like the compartments. I am sure this will be may last Dopp kit as I know it will last years and years. Well made!

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this to match my large camo gym bag; and it blends in perfectly with it - as if they came as a combo. Love that! The size is exactly what I wanted and expected. It is not small, neither is it very large, but I’d label it as a medium size. It is well built, and looks like it can take a beating. Holds everything I need it to hold for my gym shower and shave activities. Love the number of compartments it has. Perfect for my needs. Easily recommended - at this price what you get is well worth it.
