Awesome NAS. User friendly and has tons of additional features depending on needs. Took overnight to back up my phone but once done it's awesome.

This is a great NAS. Easy to set up, and easy to add files, photos, videos, etc.. there also a lot of instructional videos available online to help with setup and best practices.

If I could, I'd give this a minus 5-star review. The only instructions it came with were an Ikea-style pictograph showing how to assemble the physical device. When I pay this much for a device, I expect more, but I could have managed OK if the thing were really "plug-and-play" as advertised. But once you assemble the thing and connect it to your computer, the REAL fun begins. You type in the provided link to the website, and that's as far as the "instructions" take you. There are no instructions on the website. And you can't use the NAS unless you configure the software correctly. Plus, once you figure out how to start the process, the default settings are wrong for most people. Thank God I had ChatGPT or I'd never have managed it at all. Even then, it took me two days. I'd advise against buying this unless you have ChatGPT (or something similar). Then explain EXACTLY what you are trying to do before you start the process. Then, while you are carrying out the AI-generated installation instructions, don't input anything without checking with the AI first -- if you make the wrong choice, you may have to start over from the beginning. I've managed to get the NAS working with one computer. I haven't had the patience to go through the process of configuring my other computers to use it.

This is not a 2 drive system. It is a single 8TB drive which defeats the purpose for most people, as they are looking for data redundancy. If the single drive fails you lose all your data. The seller will not send a second drive to honor the listing. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!

Came with a blue drive that is not up to par with the red drives. Also needs more RAM since it doesn’t come with any.

J'avais hésité mais je ne regrette pas et j'ai privilégié la sécurité en sauvegardant tout en miroir avec le Raid 1 (2 disques de 4To). Et si on a regarde le prix des hébergements par cloud, on l'amortit en 2 ou 3 ans. Je l'utilise comme un gros espace de stockage amélioré, sans le surcharger par les applications proposées; on peut donc l'utiliser de manière plus poussée (hébergement internet, serveur mail etc ...). Accès direct depuis le travail en QuickConnect (1mo/s en upload), sur mon smartphone, dans toute la maison et sur mon pc portable (50mo/s, limite probable des HD) et celui de mon épouse avec le wifi; on peut accéder à tout le contenu sur nos écrans et même limiter l'accès à des répertoires ou fichiers. L'OS est assez intuitif et permet le coller/déplacer. Tous mes dvd ont été ripés en H265 et mis dessus, j'accède ainsi à tous mes médias depuis le WebOS de la télé (films, photos, vidéos ...), pratique pour regarder en famille les souvenirs. Il me sert aussi pour enregistrer des émissions et les revoir. J'y ai créé un espace de travail pour une newsletter qui permet aux rédacteurs, et à partir d'un lien, de déposer leurs articles et des les retravailler, évitant les oublis ou les rappels pour la parution finale. Le tout dans un espace sécurisé que je peux paramétrer facilement. Pas bruyant du tout, on entend juste un peu les disques lors de l'envoi de contenu ou quand il fait son job (miroir, optimisation, mises à jour ?) vers 2h ou 3h du matin ... si on est un couche tard. Que dire ? Une version à 4 ou 8 ssd nvme serait royale.

Ich nutze die Synology DS224+ Diskstation jetzt seit mehreren Monaten und bin absolut zufrieden. Das NAS wurde mit 2 x 4 TB WD Red Plus Festplatten geliefert, sodass ich direkt starten konnte. Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig, alles wirkt sehr robust und durchdacht. Die Einrichtung verlief problemlos und auch für Einsteiger verständlich. Die Software ist wie gewohnt bei Synology: einfach zu bedienen und gleichzeitig unglaublich vielseitig. Ich nutze es vor allem für Backups und als Mediaserver – läuft absolut stabil und leise, auch im Dauerbetrieb. Besonders praktisch finde ich die vielen Apps, die man direkt installieren kann, sowie die Möglichkeit, Docker-Container zu nutzen. Insgesamt ein tolles Produkt, das ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann – für alle, die eine zuverlässige und benutzerfreundliche NAS-Lösung suchen!

Ottimo prodotto. Consente di mantenere una copia di tutti i dati. Hard disk di qualità. Connesso tramite LAN la copia dei dati e l’accesso anche dallo smartphone sono davvero molto rapidi.
