Just love these Clocks
I bought two these for my loft space, as it is fairly large and I needed one each end, and 8" was the ideal size.I like the fact that the black numbering on a white background makes it easy to read, plus the minutes are also marked, something a lot of clocks seem to leave out now for some reason.I bought this is October 2018 and it is now February 2019, and despite it being very cold in the loft, they have kept perfect time, so for me they have been fine so far.I am trying to replace all my clocks to radio controlled, as before I used to forget about the ones in the loft, then when I went up there (I go up about every 2 or 3 months) I panicked because I though the time was an hour later or earlier !All in all a good purchase and certainly not expensive.

Accurate Time
This replaces a radio clock which died after eight years (knocked off the wall to the floor twice probably didn't help) and I unconsciously expected all wall clocks to be the same size so I was slightly disappointed that this is 2" smaller than the old one. The numbers are large which makes it look a little crowded on the small face. I have dropped one star for these small issues but it is still an absolutely accurate clock and at least four stars so I am happy to wait for this one to die before looking for another and they are ridiculously cheap and excellent for the kitchen or bathroom.

Doesn’t keep accurate time. 😞
Well. I knew I should have at least spent £25 on a Radio Controlled wall clock. This, well, not the greatest clock I’ve purchased.Great visually, easy to read, no real noise of ticking. Accurately is not built into this one. Hooked it to the picture hook on the wall after putting a brand new battery in in exactly the same place as the old clock. 5 minutes later it was on the floor glass front smashed! The time is not really remote controlled either. I have to manually set it nearly every 2-3 days. It’s becoming silly now. When the clocks went forward, I had to adjust it, only to find it had gone back to winter time the next morning.Other than that, it’s in a good position on the wall. Has no line of interference and is just pointless. For me, a waste of money.

I would have given this clock less stars but you ...
I would have given this clock less stars but you have to give it one to leave a review. I have had it for some time & it has ALWAYS been fast compared to all the other radio controlled clocks in the house, it gets through batteries much more quickly & now, although it is my most recent radio controlled clock acquisition, it is failing to keep any kind of sensible time. Get an Acctim or London Clock Company (both on Amazon) instead.

So far we have been really pleased with it
I have purchased radio controlled clocks before so I already had an idea of what was available. This clock was one of the cheapest but seemed to tick all the boxes. So far we have been really pleased with it. I just fitted a decent quality battery and after a short while the hands moved to the next 12 o'clock position. Then if you just leave it again it will automatically make its final correction to the current time. Seems excellent value for money.

A good deal.
Brought as a like for like replacement, the original clock lasted about four years, then it went haywire and just would no reset . This is a value for money clock, as you can pay more for roughly the same clock, I needed a 8 inch clock for my kitchen, and it’s difficult to find that size for a radio controlled clock . If this replacement last at least another four years then I’m satisfied. Arrived well packed and in good time . For the money you can’t go wrong.

Looks good BUT...
I bought one of these on 16 December 2015 but the second hand caught on the minute hand and thus it wouldn't work. Amazon replaced it very promptly but now on July 22nd 2016 it has gone wrong again, with exactly the same fault. Looking closely at it, I can see what looks like white mould on the hands and on the centre spindle, with a stain on the white face which looks as though something is seeping through from the motor. It's not the battery, which is a good Duracell and has not leaked. It has been used in a dry room, not even against a wall, so I do not understand what the mould is.It's a pity because it is a pleasing design and kept excellent time when working but as my old Dad used to say, "Buy cheap, pay twice."

Nice clock but instructions aren't much use, and the sweep action is only on set up and not in normal use
The instructions (which have grammatical errors) say to "insert the battery (not batteries as the instructions say) and then turn the time setting knob on the back until it reads the correct time". This is not the case with this clock, as there is no time setting knob! Once a battery is inserted however the second hand does a full sweep of the clock face, followed by the hour and minute hands doing a full sweep of the clock face; none of this is mentioned in the instructions. On the back of the clock are two very small black 'buttons', and by pressing one you get the clock hands to cycle through until you release the button; the clock will then continue to tell the time as normal. After an hour or so the clock picked up the atomic time and corrected the time shown. Interestingly the minute hand moves in 10 second bursts, not as a sweep; nor just jumps between minutes- again this last point is not mentioned in the instructions.Surprisingly the front of the clock is glass, as identified in the instructions; surely nowadays it ought to be some sort of plastic material incase it fell out.Only had the clock one day, so will update these comment as and when
