These little Halo guys are great. I have twins and being able to find Halo is hard. But finding these guys were great. They are durable and had no missing pieces. My boys loved the instructions and were able to put them together themselves. The design is so realistic and the toys are great and fit in their hands so well when they are playing. This gift is a great value for the Halo lover in you life. Never thought I would have so many in mine but all my boys love halo.

Quite detailed for how simple and small it is, great for collectors

I was very surprised when the Halo TV show sets were announced from Mega. The show is...bad, and very un-Halo. HOWEVER, these sets are fantastic! This is the smallest of the 3 show sets and for the $9.99 retail price, it's not too shabby. I think another figure would have made that price even more worthwhile though. The figure included is a UNSC marine who has printed shoulderplates and a printed chestplate. The details are sharp and look great. The figure had a few QC issues like loose joints and the hands didn't hold the BR well, but all that was easy fixes. The mongoose itself is an odd design that I initially disliked, but the boxy look has grown on me. The flat green is a great color and there are MANY printed parts. A second figure could fit on the backseat, but only the one marine is included. All told, this is a great little set for collectors and people who just want a cool ATV to zoom around. 9/10, highly recommend.

It was a fun little build to do after work

I got 2 of these guys a while ago and they’re pretty good. The marines themselves are nice, they have good designs and look badass. The rifles are alright, but I’ve noticed that all the battle rifles that mega make tend to be pretty loose in a characters hands, so that’s a minus. The Mongoose itself is all around decent. It fits the included marine well, though it takes some fiddling to keep the marines legs in a good position so the legs don’t disconnect if they fall too hard off a ramp or terrain. The main issue with this set is that on the back, there’s a pin that you’re supposed to put in the backpack slot of the passenger. However, I’ve found that the plate it is attached too will fall apart because it’s only reinforced on the driver side. Also, the passenger also ends up looking awkward this way. I don’t have one yet, but I think the way the old infinite style mongooses works better, since it uses a simple handlebar piece for the passenger to grab. This older design would be better if you have characters with a backpack too, so if you have more cash, I’d recommend looking over at the old infinite mongooses, as they come with some covenant and marines/ one of them comes with an odst. Most of these infinite sets are 30-45 dollars, so look around amazon for them if you want more bang for your buck. But for just a couple dollars, these are great for simple transport when you start collecting. If you’re smarter than me, you can probably build a custom version that works better. Overall, great, but better options are out there for just a little more.

My 14yr old son loves putting this together. Has a bunch of Halos so this is just another great one for his collection.
