Jaybird X3 Sport Bluetooth Headset for iPhone and Android - Blackout (Renewed)

I purchased the reconditioned product. The first one arrived with a bad battery (would only hold a charge for about 2 minutes). Amazon promptly sent me a replacement which works great. Great value for the money.

Let me start by saying this product itself is excellent. Great sound great fit. I lost mine and wanted to replace them with a refurbished pair. Horrible idea. The charging port came broken and I could never charge them. You can clearly see a broken prong on the charger. I don’t want to hear that they do a multi point quality check for refurbished items. They throw broken pieces of crap into a bag and send it to you. Shame on you amazon. Your refurbished program needs refurbishment.

These fit well after learning just how to put them in, and the sound is quite nice. I read a lot of audiobooks on my walking tours. Even on a full charge, it will say "Battery 80%" when put on. Then when it says "Battery 20" doesn't last more than a few minutes after that. The total time of usage MIGHT be 90 minutes for an audiobook. Will need to get something else and keep this for a backup.

I had a pair of the Jaybird X3s that I bought new about two years ago. Unfortunately last week, one of the ear buds stopped working and, as I’m constantly listening to music while I do school work , I wanted to find a quick replacement. I loved the sound quality and noise cancellation you get with the Comply foam tips and I had recently bought a new pack so I wanted to get another pair of the jaybird X3s.I was skeptical of the quality I’d be getting for such a low price but the 90-day return policy seemed pretty solid so I figured I’d order the refurbished product and return it if they didn’t work.The headphones came in 2 days with free shipping, there’s no product box but it came with a charger, accessory bag and all the accessories my old pair had. The headphones don’t have any signs of cosmetic damage and don’t seem to have any issues charging, holding charge and they have the same play time and sound quality that I’m used to.I don’t usually write reviews but I was very satisfied with the product and want to reassure anyone who shares my initial skepticism of buying this product

i plan on updating this if amazon/the point of contact gets back to me with positive results, but these arrived both fully charged and dead. putting them on the charger showed a green (charged) status light, but the voice prompt said low battery, charge needed. i charged them for 20 minutes, the quick charge time for over an hour of runtime, and got about 10 seconds worth of play time before they died. charged them for 2 hours, 40 seconds of play time before they died. charged overnight, 20 seconds of play time before they died. i have reset the headphones and done a firmware update on them to see if that would help the battery counter, no luck.my rating is based on features and sound quality when i was able to use them. i'm coming off of X2's and the fact that you can swap left and right if you where them over ears is awesome. they have a location feature, and an app to tune them with a multi-frequency, fully parametric EQ curve. the sound quality is on par with my X2's from the short duration i got to listen to them, and the over the top music when you turn on or off the buds is replaced when you update the FW to something more subtle and palatable. I'm hoping this is taken care of and the buds are replaced with a working set, or there is some kind of harder reset that can be performed to make these work correctly, but if not, stay away from renewed.

Got these as a Renewed item, so there was no box/instructions/etc. It was basically an opened item that was verified as being in working condition still.I am quite pleased with these. Value is perfect as I wanted to try out some Jaybirds but not spend too much in case I didn't like them. I do like them and now will consider a high end Jaybirds when these crap out.I have noticed some issues with the Bluetooth connectivity (phone is in my pocket). Noise cancellation for the mic isn't the best either. I have been on the phone and walking by a water fountain with the fountain sound picking up so much that its hard for the other phone user to hear me. There also is some lag between the phone and the headset (noticeable when using a timer app for working out). I definitely don't recommend these for high end audio or video use due to medium sound quality & lag, respectively.Overall, these are amazing for working out and listening to music. These are poor for video watching & high end music listening.

It makes no sense how this averages 3 out of 5 in reviews. I wish I had read through them because like many others, I’m having issues with the battery life. Regardless of how long they had been charging, the earbuds will last for 5 minutes and at most 8 minutes. They will last seconds if you try turning them on again after they shut off for the third time. The advertising is completely off and misleading. I don’t know if the products are just damaged or if the software is out of date. If the software is out of date and they need to be updated through the app, then why not mention that instead of seemingly copy pasting the original advertising? I wouldn’t have even went through the trouble of returning them and typing this review. Either that or they’re knowingly selling a broken product or not bothering to check if it works. And I’m sure they’re going to take the very same earbuds I’m returning and try and sell them to someone else. I strongly recommend against buying these. Don’t take any chances.

Sounds good, fits well. I prefer these slightly-wired earbuds to the truly wireless ones—if one of these slips out while I'm biking, it doesn't go flying into traffic, the woods, or the river!These can be worn a couple different ways and there are several tips and wings; experiment until you find the style and fit that work best.My only complaint could be a biggie: the charger clip. Misplace the tiny clip and you can't charge them. My X2s had a mini USB but that hurt their waterproofing.

These do not stay in my ears well, no matter the ear tips I use. They worked well to start, now much quieter on one side. Still waiting to hear back about my refund….

Se escuchan súper bien y el precio ni se diga, súper baratos. El unido pero que les pondría sería la comodidad; entiendo que las gomitas del los oídos no sean las originales y el precio de los audifonos es demaciado accesible qué pasas a no darle tanta importancia a que o son muy delgaditas o es el material, pero no son tan cómodas como otros audifonos que he comprado, después de un rato molestan un poco los oídos.

WARNING - DO NOT BUY!Dead battery. Would not charge. Received all box contents and placed in charging dock for hours and would not power on. Garbage!!!
