SpeedoUnisex Child Adventure Mask Junior Swimsuit Separates

My 9 year old granddaughter likes the mask. She needed something more than goggles because she didn't like water going up her nose. The mask keeps her eyes & nose happy. When she is happy, I am happy. She didn't want to use nose clips. She isn't using the snorkel as much but I expect that to be an intermittent use item. I am satisfied with both & would recommend both to friends.

I’ve gotten cheap snorkel masks for my kids before and they were always terrible. I was a little leery in spending this much money for goggles, but was willing to if they were quality goggles. I’m happy to say they work great! They seal well to my kids’ faces and they love them. I will only buy Speedo from now on!

I purchased this for my younger children who love to swim and normally wear goggles while doing so. I decided to see if they enjoyed snorkeling and although my older son struggles with it, my daughter loves it. It seems to be a very well made set, with the only problem I have experienced is the little rubber piece on the bottom of the snorkel occasionally gets folded over and so allows water into the breather. It is a very rare occurence, but when it happens, it is an unpleasant surprise for them. I have even used the set my self and really like how well the set works.

I bought it for my four year old but she refuses to use it. The plus is that it fits her head and mine. So I am able to use it. So even though I bought it for her and I do not actually need it, I am keeping it anyway because it is fun. I hope maybe I can convince her that it is fun but she does not like the mask - she prefers goggles that don't cover the nose - and she can't figure out how to use the snorkel at all. Maybe when she is older, she will change her mind. For now, I will keep it for myself. It is good quality and good cost. Good for older kids and adults.

I haven't seen this style adjustment on a mask. Awesome improvement. You squeeze sides to release and easily adjust mask. Made sorting the kiddos out with proper fit so easy. The silicone strap is not stretchy like the ones I am accustomed to. That threw me off until I noticed the clasp. Kids are loving them.

Both of my kiddos use these masks weekly during the summer. The strap is easy to adjust and stays in place once you do. The seal is is soft but firm. After 3 years, one mask is still in use; we had to replace the second because the edge of the strap broke off (where you pull to adjust). I did not hesitate to repurchase the same model. The fit is generous, and I have even worn it to search for toys on the bottom of the pool.

I took my kids to the Keys and these worked great!!! They fit well, the snorkel attaches to the goggles to keep it upright (yeah...I kept holding/adjusting mine until my 8 yr old told me I was doing it wrong, lol) and stays put while swimming. Without the goggles, the salt water was very strong and burned our eyes (even when closed), but with theses on there were no leaks and we could see everything clearly. Worth buying over the cheap ones found in the seasonal section at the department stores, even if only used for a short time!

So far these have worked well for my kids. The snorkels come on and off easily so you can use it without. The tightening and loosening ratchet mechanism works easily. They don't tend to need adjusting any more or less than goggles did. It's a good option for my kid who doesn't like to put her nose in the water. The masks do create pressure indents after a while, so be careful not to over-tighten.

My wife is a smaller lady and a regular mask leaks around the edges. This youth sized mask fit her perfectly.
