OXO Good Grips Glass Sugar Dispenser, 12 oz

amazing product from OXO. not as heavy as I thought they were going to be. no mess as with conventional sugar dispensers. My daughter can use this with ease. Highly recommend if your thinking of replacing that old sugar dispenser. great price and easy to clean. Great pour-ability. looks like its very durable, and it's dishwasher top rack safe. We also use this sugar dispenser for powdered creamer, works great for that also. holds a nice amount of sugar and powdered creamer.

I had an old glass sugar dispenser for over 20 years but the opening at the top was no longer sealed when I closed it so the sugar would harden. Time for a replacement. I looked through the options on Amazon and narrowed it down to this Oxo piece. I'm very happy with my choice and I hope this one lasts as long or longer than my first one. It is well sealed and the opening is great for the perfect amount for sugar to come out. It holds a nice amount of sugar so no need to refill very often. Overall an excellent piece.

Item is exactly as pictured. I bought several other cheaper sugar dispensers that didn't dispense evenly, the flap didn't stay open or the lid would get stuck because of the sugar granules. I finally paid a little more and got this OXO dispenser which solved all of the problems. OXO has solved the issue with lids getting stuck by making the seal part of the body and lid out of a plastic material. Metal against glass sticks when the sugar granules get inbetween but the plastic on plastic has no problems opening the lid. Also, the pouring mechanism is a rocker lever so no issues with it closing on you while pouring. You open it and it stays open until you close it. No problems with the sugar clumping because all seals are tight. I would buy this again and recommend it to anyone. There were 2 sizes and I bought the bigger to avoid frequent refills. It's the perfect size for our family.

This is nice looking jar that matches my s&p however it did not work for my collagen.

Love it! I use it as a salt dispenser. I use a lot of salt while cooking so its convenient to pour the salt into my dishes

Love these - bought 3 for the 3 different kinds of sugar I keep in the kitchen. Sugar flows out easily without coming too fast. Easy to refill. Feel good in the hands. Very pleased. Well worth the cost, they are typical Oxo high quality.

I have been looking for a sugar dispenser that is between 12-16 oz. I wanted to purchase from a reputable company, and I was able to find this perfect size from OXO. I have several kitchen items from them and have never disappointed me. The sugar dispenser does not get clogged, I can see how much sugar I have, and it goes with my modern kitchen. The glass is not thin and fragile but I would only hand wash this. Very well made and functional. That is what I wanted.

I live in humid Florida. We have had one of those standard, restaurant-style dispensers for years and it drove me NUTS! I just got fed up with the sugar crystalizing because a lack of seal from moisture and then clogging up every time, causing you to have to shake it, clear it and try again. I bought this one, hopeful it would be better, as it has a better lid/seal and it is WAY better! When crystals do form and block the flow, which is far less often because the hole is larger, all you have to do is flip the lid closed and reopen it and it breaks up the offending chunk. I also recommend those silica-gel packets in the container, to help absorb moisture and keeps the sugar dry. This dispenser is a solid design and works as advertised and it looks great!

I needed a new creamer after the old plastic one (also made by Oxo) began to leak. The glass is one piece unlike the plastic version so I am sure this one will not leak from the base like its cousin. All in all a better creamer but it is a bit pricey so it better last.
