This size of bin is perfect for the job as it's able to hold several of the pens for easy, out of the way storage, until the bin is full and ready for disposal. The 2-pack is a good value as they will last me for a year or more, and I particularly like the way the locking lid mechanism works to ensure things stay put for managing the sharps/biohazard material safely. The rolling door mechanism makes it easy to deposit the pens in a single motion with no hassle. The sturdy plastic container is the same type you'd encounter in a medical environment, making it reliable and effective for my at-home use.

It’s easy to use and fits well in my hall closet, though I wouldn’t call it compact—it’s a bit larger than some others (but still smaller than what you see in a hospital/doctor's office), but that’s actually a plus for my needs. It holds a full year’s worth of used injectors without needing to be replaced more often. When it’s full, I simply place it in the garbage—no mess, no hassle, and no safety concerns. The lid stays secure, and I’ve never had any issues with leaks or malfunction. It’s a straightforward, dependable solution for at-home medical waste. These are official sharps disposal containers. They are well made, and the opening is large enough for the injection pens to drop in. It will hold maybe 20 pens, so will last a couple months. The only downside is the clear plastic cover when you seal it up to dispose of, it can be opened, so make sure you have it on right to prevent it from coming off. I was able to pull the cover off after sealing it. Not sure if you are supposed to be able to do that?

Easy to use, holds large needles, for rxs like mounjaro or wegovy. Will hold a lot.
