Is the best DVD so far!
I've not tried many of the 10 Minute Solution DVDs, but of the ones I have, this is the best! It's so much fun, and she does take you through the steps. Some of them are difficult, but at the same time you have to realise that you're not going to be using this DVD just once, and the movement is what counts. There are a few steps that I found hard to follow at first, so I did my own thing, and after a few days, it all just clicked. The movement is what is important, so if there is a bit you can't do, do something similar.What I love about 10 Minute Solutions is that you can arrange your workout however you like. You can choose to do section 2, 4, 3 and 1, in that order, without touching the DVD remote at the end. It's great! And so much fun! I used a lot of the muscle toning ones first, and while they were effective, I found myself aching the next day and almost unable to continue. This DVD is nothing like that! It doesn't focus on muscles, it focuses on fat burning, as the title suggests, and as a result, I actually feel like I've done more work, I can go for longer, and the next day I'm not aching so I can go again!I'm a beginner with dancing. This is the first dance DVD I've bought, and I have little to no rhythm. That said, from where I'm standing, this DVD is excellent. And it's cheap, so even if you're not sure, it's a good thing to try. Seriously, these DVDs should cost more than they do! They're just amazing.Buy iiiit! You honestly won't regret it!

Delightful!
I really am at odds with people who were not satisfied with this dvd.Firstly, a couple said the moves were too difficult to follow, even for someone with prior (dance) experience... What a load of rubbish! I don't have any dance background, yet i found the moves fine. Yes, a few details you don't get straight away, but that makes it more interesting. And the moves are an absolute delight, so much so I've been incorporating them in my club outings. In fact, I have been looking forward to the mornings when it's this dvd's turn!2nd criticism was that this dvd is too easy and... too difficult. Well, that's sorted then! This dvd is just right. I have been doing the full 50 minutes and feel I've burned plenty calories by the end of it (and I am in a relatively fit condition).I have approximately 50 minutes of cardio every morning, for which i alternate days between: Fat Blasting Dance Mix (reviewed here), Hip Hop Abs and Ministry of Sound V4, all 3 absolutely great dvds. This here dvd is definitely my favourite in terms of sheer enjoyment, at least in the first 3 workouts, as the last two are a bit more exercise-y. Ab-solutely, totally recommended!

A fun way to add cardio into your workout programme
I really wanted to add more fun into my cardio programme (Mel B's Totally Fit, running, walking and swimming) and as I'm a big fan of the 10 Minute Solution Pilates DVDs (I have 5 from the collection that I alternate through the week), I was searching for a 10MS dance workout. I'm looking forward to trying out the '10 Minute Solution: Hip Hop Dance Mix' but as that's not available until August, I bought this one in order to practice and I'm so glad I did!There are 5, 10 minute workouts, the first 3 are cardio/dance based and the final 2 have a dance feel but are concentrated on target toning the lower body and abs. All the sections are done standing, so no need for a mat, but your carpet may not appreciate the wear and tear from doing the boxing slide move!I found some of the moves a little tricky, but I love a challenge and it's been a real boost to conquer the dance routines with perseverance. Even if you get a little lost, just keep moving and with practice, you will get there. The instructor is friendly and explains the moves very clearly without distracting from the workout (you are moving for every second of each 10 minute sequence), smiley without being annoying, however it took me a few sessions to fall in line with the way she cues the next move whilst doing the current one - I kept jumping ahead, but I've now got that sorted.The 3 dance workouts are a lot of fun with the first one 'Simple Slimmer' being the easiest and the remaining 2 working at a more intermediate level. I really enjoyed the lower body routine as the lunges and squats are given a dance twist, but the abs workout I've yet to master, as although the instructor and her back up team (2 ladies) wear ab revealing tops so you can see just how to do the rotating isolation move, I found it quite tricky to be totally sure I'm getting it right, but as this is such a great workout, I'm pretty determined to keep trying until I get this down. I did like the inclusion of the side lunges and waist twists and overall, I was surprised at how much of a sweat I worked up just combining the 3 dance sections.In summary, a fun way to do cardio that will really help to burn fat. The 10 minute sections means you can fit in working out around your schedule and an added bonus is having a laugh breaking out your craziest moves in the comfort of your own home with no one watching!

during the last year I ve never had the time to go to the gym and this dvd is perfect for me. 10 minutes is enough to train, get relaxed and shape your body. my abdominals have never been so beautiful! I found that this workout is better than any other fitness program I've used.you'll feel better in no time!

運動音痴の私でも楽しくできました
5つ種類があるうち、まだ2種類しかやっていませんが、もう値段並みの満足感があります。リズムにあわせて動くのは好きだしダンスはかっこいいなぁと憧れもあるけど運動音痴だし身体も固い、という普段インドアな私でも楽しめました。DVDのお姉さんも親しみやすい感じで私は好きです。「シンプルスリムアップ」は、振り付けレベルとしてはかつてのアイドルグループ「スピード」並みでしょうか。(最近のはよく知らないのですみません。)とはいえ運動音痴な私には、最初動きがよくわからず、ついていけない部分がありました。でも完全についていけない訳ではないし、何となく楽しくて、見よう見真似でやっているうちに、それなりに出来てきた気がして、益々楽しくなってきました。今日も楽しくて、朝もやったけど夜にもやっちゃいました。「ウエストアタック」は、動きの楽しさはシンプルスリムアップには劣るぶん、最初に取り組むには簡単で良かったです。とはいえ私には難しい動きもありましたが。普段運動しておらず、子育てに追われる私にはは、10分というのが本当に丁度良く有難いです。身体の代謝を高めつつストレス解消になり、重宝しました。健康のためもありますが、出来るようになってく楽しみのため、ひとまずこれを続けます。

A Beginner's Perspective
Since my only experience with instructional aerobics consists of a rather embarassing (and discouraging) attempt to keep up with a class of gym regulars, I was afraid of feeling overwhelmed again. This DVD is fantastic! I felt a little lost the first couple of times, but was able to follow the simple steps (and keep doing them while figuring out the more complicated ones). I have zero experience following choreography and within a week, I can dance to the "Simple Slimmer" at the same pace as the instructors. The music is decent (not boring and won't annoyingly get stuck in your head) and a single 10 minute workout helps you break a sweat without noticing the time pass. There is also a great feature allowing you to personalize your workout by choosing which segments you want to do and in which order. I recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and efficient way to fit some exercise into a busy schedule.

My Favorite Dance Workout DVD!
I've only recently started working out at home using fitness DVD's, but of the 3 dance inspired DVD's I've tried this is by far my favorite. I've taken fitness classes at my gym and this is the only DVD that compares to those, making me feel as though I'm taking a personal class right in my living room. Jennifer, the instructor, is great- not at all annoying -and she seems to motivate me just when I need it most. This DVD really gets my heart rate up, and sometimes I even need to stop to catch my breath. I workout in the morning, and dancing around my living room to this DVD definitely puts me in a good mood for the day!The dance routines are extremely fun and definitely more "current" than the other DVD's I've tried. I would only advise that you do need to have good coordination to be able to complete the moves, as some of them are definitely more complex. "Simple Slimmer" and "Fat Burning Party" seem to be the easiest to pick up for beginners. My favorite, however, is "Ab Attack." As someone who HATES doing endless crunches and ab-work on the floor, I absolutely love this segment because you're standing, and even dancing, the entire time. The first time I tried it, it was so fun that I figured it couldn't possibly be working my abs too. Boy was I wrong - during everything I did the next day, from simple walking to sitting down to working out, I could feel the soreness in my midsection!I also love being able to program which 10 minute routines I want to do in my half hour cardio workout. It's so much better than having to fast forward through parts you're not interested in in an hour long DVD. Being broken into 10 minute segments also seems to make my workout go by faster. I know how much longer I have to go without having to keep looking at the clock.Overall, I would highly recommend this DVD to anyone looking for a fun, dance inspired workout that will truly make you sweat!

「忙しいあなたのためにとっておきのプログラムを用意したわ」という言葉に偽りナッシング。ウォーミングアップもクールダウンも単体としてはありません。いくら忙しくてもそれくらいは作って欲しいです。全体的にテンポが速くて必死についていこうとして無理すると体が痛くなります。
