I haven't measured anything for a quantitative test, but it appears to be catching stuff. The water flow in our house also seems to be fine. Our water provider supposedly does reverse osmosis for all of our water due to PFAS/PFOS. Well despite that, this filter was brown after a year of use and there was some sediment around it too. I'm glad to have a whole home water filter. You never know what goes on between the water source and your house. I bought some other brand before this and the cap was cracked and it also had a bad seal. This one seems to be made pretty well. I plan to keep buying this one for the foreseeable future.

Express makes a good whole house filter system.

This is the cheapest way to buy these filters. We have a whole house 3 filter (their "heavy metal" setup) using the Activated Carbon Block as the last filter after a KDF and a sediment filter. When we first set this up it was amazing the difference in our water quality! (namely, hydrogen sulfide removal) But as of late October, changing both KDF & ACB has done little to remove the sulfur smell. Overall very happy with this system.

Exactly what we needed. These work exceptionally well.

I have been using them for 3 years now (3rd pack). I run them for 6 month on our well and they look like there is capacity to run them longer. I have tried cheaper ones before that worked tomorrow 6 month, but these ones seem to have a higher capacity and may last longer. I have no issue with water quality for the duration and would recommend them to anyone. They do come with plastic seals on top and bottom. Highly recommended.

These carbon block filters work well I am on city water with 2-3 ppm chlorine.I put a sediment, heavy metal, then two of these carbon block filters after install the water tastes great and chlorine reads zero on the test kit chlorine odour also gone when showering doing dishes etc.

This product did not work for my whole house system. i bought this one to replace the big blue KDF filter as this one was less than 1/2 the price. It only took the smell out of my well water for 5 days or so and after a couple weeks the smell was worse than it has ever been! COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!
