Minimum desk space, works better and faster than old desktop.
Replaced my 10 year old Dell Desktop. Worked with all the old drives, monitor and keyboard, and home wifi.

pretty good product
This is a barebones model. If you don't know what that means, you are probably looking at the wrong device. The main reason to buy this is because its small and meets the needs of a simple workstation or non-production home server. Don't get SSD drives with heat spreaders, there is not enough clearance for them. If you don't have an HDMI monitor connected it will blink an amber alert LED that is annoying there is not an option to disable. You can work around it by buying an HDMI dummy plug for a few dollars on amazon. I'm running this as a home proxmox hypervisor and set up two SSD drives in raid1, running some virtual servers on it and works fine. From what I researched it is made in Taiwan and not China. It is convenient to open and close the chassis, but undesirable to do so because of the sketchy ribbon cable. Otherwise it works well, fan runs quietly. It doesn't look stupid and its small. Solid 4 star device.

Very Good
The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is you have to be real careful with the sata data cable which can come off and make you think you have broken the unit. It goes back on real easy, you just have to use a magnifier to look at what you are doing and flip the tiny clip that holds the cable in place. Also there is some confusion as to weather these can take 64gb of ram which ASUS needs to make more clear on their website.
