I am pleased to say this item was received ahead of time and took only a few minutes to replace in the tablet it was meant for. So kudos to the seller. I am hopeful, at this time, it will endure as its predecessor. Suffice to say, it fired up first time and is charging as before with no indicated issues. All that remains to say is educate your family not to insert Apple charging leads into Android devices and offset having to replace charging ports in the first place.

Was able to install the Charging Point in my Samsung tablet and it solved the charging problem! Unfortunately had already wasted time changing batteries so wish I had done the charging socket first - cheaper and easier.
