Cute but smaller than anticipated

Smaller than expected but arrived quickly and packaged well. Comes in a lovely box with details inside. Beautifully painted also. This is a present for a friend and I think she'll love it!

I bought the black cat and the white cat and I'm super happy with them. They are beautifully crafted. Ceramic, which I was delighted with because most Maneki Neko cats are plastic. The delicately painted details on their faces and bodies are so carefully done. They came well packaged in little boxes with Japanese writing on them (I would have loved to know what the writing means.) They also came with the story of the origins of the Maneki Neko cat. I'm delighted with them, they are adorable. I would highly recommend The Japanese Shop.
