I’ve been around since the massive brick-style phones and have had new phones often since.As they’d gotten more features, smaller in size, and then larger screens, then touch screens and more - I’ve been there every step of the way.Once upon a time, Nokia was the epitome of durability. There’s almost a pop culture and meme icon because of it - and phones to some degree were far more fragile then, though the gap in materials and manufacturing has been and is closing - the need for a case that has good protection was and is still certainly needed.I’ve tried cases from many manufacturers from the likes of OtterBox, Case-Mate, Pelican, Lander, Bodyguardz, Zagg, Speck, and others, including generics and Apple’s own offerings.Enter this case from Phone Rebel.I had heard their name before but had yet to try it.I’ll openly admit, that the only reason I tried this one, is because the case that I loved for my previous phone was no longer made by the company it had been and had been passed off to their sister company.I had ordered it (the case before this one), put it on the phone, and it was hampering wireless charging- though it had boasted boosting for it. I then tried 4 different chargers - it was defective and the *other* company made me pay for shipping to replace it and then took longer to refund than they promised.Enter Phone Rebel.I had researched for quite a bit, stumbled upon them and the only thing they didn’t have was the lanyard attachment.Amazon photos showed it (the lanyard attachment), but couldn’t see if it was included.Reaching out to support, they were very responsive and let me know they should be available on or before the end of the year and a “ballpark” of what the price might be. (Don’t ask, they swore me to super duper secret status)So, given this, I took the plunge, and ordered the case.It came early, (shocking) and it came with a glass protector, which was way easy to install - and zero bubbles. For me, having no bubbles is a huge deal. Historically I’ve never been able to do that with *any* screen-protecting glass.The case was a dream to put on, and I am using a 3rd party lanyard attachment until the button for the back comes out - which I am eagerly awaiting with bated breath.While there can never truly be “the perfect” phone case, this is a 9.85/10 type of scenario.Add the lanyard button and some additional heat dissipation — and you might actually have the “perfect case”.It looks great and feels awesome in the hand, lightweight and tough materials like the stuff they found in that UFO crash In Roswell, New Mexico.Out of all the cases, from all the different manufacturers and their associated touted features with each case that I’ve ever bought, this is hands down is the most durable, well-fitting, lightweight, and feature-rich case I’ve ever owned.To say it’s well-designed, would be a gross understatement. This is some genius-level stuff.+15,000/10 — Definitely and strongly recommend this case.So if you’ve read all this and you’re *still* on the fence or unsure about it, worry not and fret no longer, add this to your cart and check out already.You’ll thank yourself, and maybe even me later.

Best case for me. It’s thin and minimalistic, very sturdy and protects nicely. Fit and texture is snug and non slippery, and I love the carbon fiber finish. I had this same case for 2 years on my iPhone 15 Pro Max and dropped it from waist high a few times onto the corners and the camera side and never any damage to my phone. I hardly ever leave reviews but I love this case!

I have never ever written a review before and this case is worthy of my first one! I’ve tried so many cases in my life and for my iPhone 17 pro from premium brands to the budget goodies. Every brand had one thing they were good at and lacked in other areas but this case hit every single one on the head!It has tapered edges for amazing swiping and screen access that doesn’t compromise screen protection.It also is slim on the sides and back, they are so thing that the buttons have a slope up to them!The grip on the side is great and not abrasive! Fantastic texture.The MagSafe is the perfect sweet spot that it’s not overly strong and difficult to remove accessories but it’s won’t let things fall of. It is really secure!Lastly the aramid fiber back is genuine and looks legit and feels fantastic and premium! It may show light fingerprints here and there but they wipe off easily. Also I use mag safe to charge and other accessories and you can’t even see the wear on it!My only tiny caveat with it is the action button, I personally don’t like the orange. But if it came in black and the rigid texture I’d be all over it! But I bought the black buttons and it looks so sleek I love it! This is just a preference though not a functional thing.Overall this is an amazing looking and fantastically protective case that passed every test out there! Best price for product out there! Highly recommended!

I don't give many 5 star reviews, but I'm giving the REBEL 5 stars. Surprised I don't see more YT reviews of this case. I order this case and several others to find the best one for my needs. The Mous always get top or near the top reviews, but I returned the mouse and kept the REBEL. The REBEL seemed to do everything the Mous did and usually slightly better. Plus it's $25 cheaper. One thing I especially like about the Rebel are the very grippy raised dots on the side. Excellent grip on this one. The finish is nice and has just enough grip to keep it steady, but not grabbing your clothes. Fit is excellent and I have no complaints about buttons.My only gripe is the rear camera ring is sold separately @$15 and it's a requirement IMO if you value your lenses.

After a lot of searching and trying other popular cases, this is the best slim protective case I could find for the 18 Pro.Comparing against a case with the best floating buttons available, these buttons are not the best I’ve tried, but they are still excellent. I never found them lacking, and while they rattle a bit if you shake the case or hold the phone at a weird angle while tapping them, this is never noticeable during normal use. They don’t protrude as much as some cases, but this helps against accidental presses and snags, and they are still easy enough to locate thanks to a sloping lip around the button areas and the texture they added to the action button.The camera control button actually is the best I’ve tried, even better the case with the nicer floating buttons. Not only the touch capability, but the button pressure levels and fully depressing the button all feel just right.The case does have weight to it, but is comparable to other slim protective cases. It’s only 2 grams heavier than the open Sheath. It feels the slimmest of the actually protective cases I’ve tried and the slimness might be part of the reason it “feels” heavy (since the weight can be felt across a smaller contact area in your hand depending on how you hold it).The grip isn’t bad. The main challenge with the grip is that the thinness of the case doesn’t provide as much surface area to hold onto, and the back, while not slippery, doesn’t provide much friction. The stippling on the sides is a bit intense and doesn’t seem ideal, but it does add enough grip that I haven’t found it to be an issue.I can’t empirically speak to the protectiveness of the case, but the design gives me confidence. This case has decent build quality, a stiff back with a solid camera ring frame, raised corners around the screen, and TPE for corner protection. I didn’t find any issue with the stiffness of the top edge, it’s as stiff as the other three sides on my case. On paper, this should be up there with the best in terms of protection. I do not use a screen protector with my phone, and I find the lip around the screen on all sides both sufficient and unobtrusive. A thick screen protector might have exposed edges on the left and right sides with this case. I prefer to rely on the case and the screen’s own scratch resistance in exchange for the small risk of damage from a highly uneven surface.MagSafe magnet strength is very strong, bordering on too strong. I have to be careful not to pull my car mount out of place when removing the phone, and I hope the magnets won’t cause any sort of interference with device functions like the compass (haven’t noticed any so far). No issues with wireless charging.One seemingly minor thing this case nails for me is the earpiece speaker cutout. It’s very subtle, but compared to other premium cases that seem to very slightly deflect the earpiece speaker sound more, the sound with this case seems to project better and more evenly when I compare them back to back.Nothing is perfect, and the biggest issue I have with this case is the aluminum camera ring. The top and bottom edges of the ring aren’t symmetrical, with the top edge having a gentle roundness and the bottom edge being steep and sharp. The bottom edge is the one that will rest on surfaces and has the potential to cause damage if you aren’t careful. Unfortunately, the camera ring can’t be turned upside down as the screw holes won’t line up that way. This is the biggest flaw with the case that I think should be addressed, and almost prevented me from trying this case. It’s not noticeable in daily use, but will certainly become noticeable if you damage a table or MacBook palm rest due to it.Build quality also isn’t perfect, as there is a slight amount of adhesive visible around the edges of the aramid panel in certain lighting. Hopefully the extra adhesive is worth it to prevent peeling in the long run, but it slightly diminishes the apparent fit and finish.Overall, I will be sticking with this as my daily case for the 18 Pro. Some other cases seemed more premium, but the thinness, protective design without adding significant weight compared to competitors, buttons (especially camera control), and earpiece speaker performance of the Rebel Gen 7 won out in the end for me.

I had a UAG case that cost 4x the cost of this and still ended up having to replace the screen twice from waist high drops. This case is thin and light but tough. Recommend highly for people like me that the tactile feel is important. Very comfortable and solid but smooth and minimalist

I’m very happy with this case for my iPhone 18 Pro Max! It fits perfectly and feels sturdy and well-made. I especially like the raised, protective edges around the screen and camera, which make the phone feel much safer from drops and scratches. It also looks great without being too bulky. Definitely a great purchase!

This is a great overall case with no issues that I can see. Slim, grippy, and protective checks all boxes for me and the c.c button is second to none I’m throughly pleased.

I've tried multiple different brands and phone cases over the last 6 years and eventually I keep coming back to Rebel. Best protection, aesthetically pleasing, and the MagSafe magnets are 2nd to none! Mous cases are just as protective but the magnets suck! Got a new iPhone 17 Pro and was gifted a case with it from where I bought it from. My mistake I should've just sold it on FB Marketplace or tossed it straight into the bin. I'm Phone Rebel for life!
