Does what it should
Lock gone on your zoom lens? This is just a rubber band, with enough grip to stop the lens from moving. Perfect.

Good
It works. But very expensive.

Does what it says on the tin
Basically a nicely styled elastic band. Sized to the lens and coloured so it is not obtrusive. It does overlap some of the scale around the zoom ring, but as this is rarely if ever used this is not an issue. If left over the edge in its "in use" position it renders the zoom ring a little stiff to use, so I would recommend sliding it back out the way until needed (no need to take it off the lens).

Steady your Zoom!
Hard to source, glad I found one. Holds the lens at whatever length you want - very useful for conformity if taking a series or multiple exposures needing the same lens length. Main point advertised is to stop lens creep if your zoom edges forward (mine doesn't normally) which it does. Small expense, small to keep on lens or in bag, on its day for a specific purpose indispensable!

Does as promised
Works well. However, the same effect could be used for free using a thick rubber band but then a hassle to find the right diameter one so I ponied up instead.

For Sony/Zeiss 16-80mm... read review
If you are wanting this to fix your 'creepy' Sony/Zeiss 16-80mm LENSband is the way to go I bought this one first and then tried the micro 4/3rds version and fitted it at the rear (see photo). If you want to take it on and off frequently, buy this one. I have BOTH but settled with the micro 4/3rds version (shown in photo)... just some gentle warming then ease it over the bayonet... a bit fiddly but it works a treat. It doesn't squeeze the zoom ring, push it snugly up against the ring so it stops it moving too freely. The micro 4/3rds version is not as easy to take on and off but they both work a treat... if your Sony/Zeiss 16-80mm is 'creepy' then LENSband is the perfect solution.

It works
I have an old Canon 28-135mm lens which is well known for 'lens creep'. This is provides a quick fix, but it could also be achieved with an elastic band if you're not fussed about aesthetics.

Lens creep solution!
If you have a lens with a large front element they can be prone to lens creep when the camera is positioned vertically. I had this problem with my Canon 28-135mm f/3.5 lens but the lens band solved this perfectly. The band is made of silicone just like a charity wristband, but is thicker and feels better quality. I purchased mine in black and anyone would be hard pressed to tell there is anything different about the lens. I have positioned mine so it does not interfere with the zoom or focus ring. it does cover up the zoom markings but this has not been a problem for me.I would recommend to anyone who is having trouble with lens creep.
