Q: Bullet point size chart says size large has a 7.9 inch inseam. Scroll down, brand size chart says inseam is 11.6”. Wondering which is it?

Size XL inseam is about 11.75" so I would guess the 11.6 is correct. Great shorts.

Q: Is padding removable?

It’s actually two sets of separate shorts. Inner short is removable, form fitting but with stretch with built in pads. The outer short is loose and can be worn separately. Cool and far more comfortable than I expected.

Q: Would knee pads fit under the short?

Shorts are only 9” inseam, so yes.
