WOW is where I am going to start this review. Very good build. This is defiantly an advanced builder set. A couple of the instructions are out of order but very easy to understand. Very detailed as you can see in the pictures. I was missing 1 piece in the set but I have multiple 3d printers so I just printed a piece myself. I did reach out to JMB Toys and they responded right away. Only thing I would recommend is putting the stickers on as you build the set. Have to look at the end of the second book to get information on where the stickers go. They would be a lot easier to install while building than after it is all completed. Great job JMBricklayer on the awesome set. Looking forward to the Black Pearl.

I have always loved building blocks ever since I was a little kid. I suppose I was a bit of a snob because I thought that LEGO bricks were the only way to go. I decided to try a different brand and kept my fingers crossed for good results. I am happy to say that I have found the JMBricklayer brand worthy of compliment. I found that the packaging was very similar to the LEGO brand with individual bags for portion of the building process. The booklet gave easy to read and understand directions. The quality of the parts is identical to LEGO and are interchangeable. Pieces easily fit into each other, yet stay in place making the integrity of your project secure. Most importantly, all the parts were there. Nothing missing or broken and made from top quality materials that feels and looks substantial. Nothing wimpy or loose fitting. I also very much liked that the lighting was included in the kit and not a separate purchase, they even included quality tweezers to help with installation-very nice. The lighting and wires are super delicate, it takes patience to get them in place without damage. This is true of any lighting kit you purchase, but the best part is that the lighting is installed as you are building. You don't have to go back and dismantle anything and no frustration trying to get it all back together. The ship was easy to build and would be fun for any child that has patience and pays attention to detail. Its important to pull the pieces indicated for each step, so that way you know you have completed that step 100% before proceeding. For my first experience with this brand, it was an A+! I will be purchasing again because they have great details, enormous value and will last for years.

I got this for my partner who loves pirates and all things spooky. This set took him about 3 days, a few hours at a time to build. He enjoyed it and noticed the pieces were nice quality for the price. The instructions were clear and all pieces were there. It was fairly easy to build. The lights were the difficult part, he ended up rerouting the lights so that the plug isn’t sticking out as far, then he bought an extended USB cord to plug it into the wall. It’s a nice decorative piece. I wouldn’t recommend for young children. Teens and adults would have more patience to build this.

This version of The Flying Dutchman was a lot of fun. I love the color scheme and the lights. There were no missing pieces. Instructions are easy enough to follow. Some of these sets require a little more pressure to put pieces together than Lego sets but they are still easy. I would suggest holding the base in your hand and supporting both sides. Start off with just a little pressure and gently press it together. You build up the sides of the ship and the base is not real wide so you don’t want to topple it while working on one side. It sits just fine for displaying though once finished. The lights are really cool. They are connected with tiny wires and connectors plugged into a small board. I was extra careful because had not done one with lights before but it was simple and turned out great. You store the board and wires inside the cabin area and it plugs in by usb. It’s stable when moving it once finished and for what I paid it was a great price. I just finished another ship set from this same company that had over 3,000 pieces and all pieces were there on that one too. It was also fun. So, so far, this company gets an A+ in my opinion.

its a great looking ship but it could of used more lights especially in the front section and also some of the connections a touchy so they come apart easily but overal it is still a great looking project and fun putting it together so is well worth the money

This took a few days to put together because there are lots of small parts, but the end result was worth it! It did come with green lights, however, I unintentionally nicked the wire when trying to place them. So I used some other green lights I had. I added a couple of figures of my own to add to the look. Love it and looks great!

So first of all its a great looking Lego build, however it does not stay together well and it is so tedious to build. In the end there were a few small items missing nothing major. But the front of the ship kept falling apart. no way would it hold up to being picked up and moved. I used this as a fish tank decoration so after the front of the ship kept falling apart I just glued the pieces together. filled it full of rocks and dropped it in my tank. but basically its cool if you glue it together but they didn't engineer this to hold together well. Directions were challenging in some areas. The lego blocks stuck together good and the lights worked well.

Good quality bricks. The instructions are straight forward and the end ship is really nice. The lights are a nice touch. I would get a build form this company again.

Regalato a mio nipote, è stato molto contento. Qualità direi più che buona, non sarà un Lego, ma ci si avvicina molto.

Pièces de très bonnes factures, même si ce n'est pas la marque au bonhomme jaune, c'est assez bluffant. La notice n'est pas aussi claire que celle de son homologue. Mais le rendu est splendide ! Et les lumières... On adore !

Klasses Modell, super Preis. Bis auf einen, leicht ersetzbaren, Teil alles dabei gewesen. Steinequalität herausragend. Enorme Klemmkraft, etwas abgefahrene Bautechnik. Die Anleitung könnte ein bisschen übersichtlicher sein, kein absolutes Anfängermodell. Für Kinder < 14 ist das Schiffchen weniger geeignet, aber als Displaymodell, schaut es wirklich super aus, vor allem wegen der Beleuchtung.
