I purchased the Hedgehog wall mount dryer for our kickboxing gear, mainly our boxing gloves. I have a cheapy single pair shoe/boot dryer that I thought would suffice, I was wrong. Even after 3 hours on the dryer the glove liners were still damp, it just doesn't push enough air out. I tried another brand dryer that could do two pair and it was okay, it still took about 5 hours to get the liners dry enough to spray disinfectant/deodorizer in the gloves, it also lacked in air output. I also wasn't a fan of not being able to control the heat output of the first two dryers I used, they pump out heat as soon as you turn it on, I'm also not a fan of the twist countdown timers and lastly I wanted something that could accommodate at least three pairs of gloves so I wouldn't have to waste so much time swapping gloves out. I came across the Hedgehog dryer and liked the wall mount option, there wasn't a lot of reviews on these dryers but what I did find all to be fairly positive. So, I figured I give one a shot, even though I wasn't excited about coughing up $165 for it. I am extremely pleased with the dryer so far, it has exactly what I was looking for as far as features and control options. It moves a lot of air for the size of the blower and dries are gloves completely in about an hour set at about 50% blower speed and 113F medium heat. It is nice that I can do all three pairs of gloves at the same time. I also like that there is a no heat option for this blower, which is nice when I spray the disinfectant/deodorizer into the gloves. I generally let the gloves air dry after spraying because heat can affect the effectiveness of certain disinfectants, but with this having a no heat option I am able to dry the gloves in about an hour, spray the inside of gloves and dry the disinfectant in about 30 minutes using the no heat setting. What was taking me about 6 hours or so to complete with three pairs of gloves, is not taking just over 1.5 hours. The time savings, less hassle and the overall performance of this blower makes it worth getting. I am a happy person with this product so far. Lets see how well it holds up and lasts. Lastly, it is also nice that the dryer is modular and you can purchase other accessories for it them to expand the number and type of items that you can dry at one time. Worth a look if you're looking for a pretty decent dryer.

Great product, easily mounts on a wall next to an outlet, and when you come in with those wet boots in the winter or when you’re sneakers or other shoes are damp from a workout or just daily wear, pop the hoses into them, or put the gloves on the extensions, turn on the heat and ionization if needed to help with odor, let it run a couple hours and you’re good to go . Helps your shoes and gloves from getting smelly and they’re nice and dry when you need to use them again.

Hair dryer on steroids. You can set the temperature, the hours to run, and the fan speed. Not too noisy. Wall mountable. Looks cool and works hot. Great gift for rainy days, snow play, shoe-cleaning day. Buy!Buy!Buy! I got both versions.

We use this for hockey gear and it works great! Helps dry and get the smell out. The only thing I would change would be that the clips would stay in better without wall brackets. If you want to travel with it at all that makes it difficult because you can't just hang it up.

Rains here all the time, this was a life saver for my kids

This little buddy is a whiz at what he does. We love dressing him up and then letting him get to work. PLUS no more wet gloves and boots that smell. It dries so good. You can hear the strong air flow, but have it be too loud, and it has actual heat coming out that you can feel. It is expensive for what it does, but worth it for how well it works.

I saw this inadvertently when searching for something else. I was intrigued because my daughter is an athlete and we need to dry her sweaty shoes after every practice/game. Using the furnace vent can damage the shoe and using a fan takes forever, so I took a chance and bought this. Honestly, I was thinking it seemed gimmicky and didn't have high hopes (sorry!), but I was so wrong! This works amazingly. We use it nearly every day on my daughter's shoes and it dries them fast and thoroughly without damaging the shoe. We haven't had much snow yet this year, but we will also use it for gloves and snow boots when needed. We were a little worried about where to hang it, but we decided to get the one that doesn't attach to the wall. We purchased the one with the hanger and it's hanging on the rod in our laundry room. It seemed pricey at first, but it will save us money in the long run by prolonging the life of the tennis shoes. We have a ski vacation planned after the New Year and are planning to take it with us even! It is truly a great product!!

Order this dryer to dry multiple pairs of gloves hats etc. other dryers previously tried seemed to barely blow the air, almost more passive. Not only does this keep everything in 1 place but is saves a lot of space. I can hang it over the shower curtain rod or the rod in the laundry room within reach of an outlet. The sound is not super quiet depending on air speed setting, but not annoying. Also doesn’t take a long time to dry. I have washed waterproof winter gloves in the washing machine and dried them in just a few hours. The air flow adjustments are great. The timer settings are more than enough. The temperature settings are useful. I had trouble at first with one output. The air wasn’t blowing through it. I saw that the black plastic circle was not punched all the way through. So I took a pen and popped it open. It now works just fine. I cannot shut it off with the off switch so I believe the plastic peice is now in the way. But if that’s the only one I can’t turn off then that’s the one I will always use. Not an issue. I’m glad I invested in this dryer, wish I would have sooner.

At the recommendation of some friends who used this, we bought one for ourselves. We use this dryer for my son's hockey equipment when he plays out of town, and it has worked very well. He is a goalie, and we use it for his chest protector, knee pads, neck protector, and gloves. The unit is portable, easy to pack, and sets up quickly in hotel rooms. It dries all of this gear between games without any trouble. The different modes help manage timing and airflow. The quiet mode is useful in the evening, and the turbo mode provides enough power for thicker equipment like the chest protector. The adjustable heat gives an extra layer of control, and we have not had issues with overheating or damage. Being able to run multiple pieces at the same time is a major benefit. For families traveling with hockey gear, this dryer is a dependable and practical tool. Portable, effective, and strong enough to keep everything ready for the next game.

5/5 stars it’s exactly as described. I absolutely love it with its convenience be it hanging or mounted I'm quite satisfied. The Ionic system left my place with no odours unlike past products from other brands. With it using hoses instead of direct contact there is none if not very little chance of water contact. Very good product well done manufactures/designers.
