Would the base be stable if it is put on turf?

If you buy the Jearey base that goes with the umbrella it is super heavy. So although mine is on a flagstone patio, I feel it would be ok on turf as long as the turf is level.

Does the navy blue umbrella fade?

Not sure on this one as I just put it up 2 weeks ago. But from my experience, all umbrellas fade within 2 years (even the $400. I bought) in the Florida heat and sun.

How is the umbrella held in the patio table with the hole

it usually slips into a hole in the middle of the table, but it needs a bottom block to anchor it firmly at floor-level. I used a 2" PVC pipe strapped to the back of my doublewide adirondack chair instead of the table.
