Cheap reflective material definitely not 3M, they run about two sizes too big so if you order a large because you wear a large T-shirt you will be floating in this you will need a medium. I have the black version I have used it for years with no issues not sure what happened with the quality control I will order a different brand next time. For $100 you would expect high quality
