The mount itself seems sturdy enough to do the job. But it fell off my windshield twice in the first two day of using it. The suction cup tore which is unacceptable. It’s junk. Don’t buy it.

I bought this as a replacement for another one that I have and unfortunately it didn't quite fit the one it was replacing, so I wouldn't recommend it to buy it for replacement.Besides that, it is very sturdy and succion is great. It comes with a whipe to clean the area before you put it on. Good quality

If you're looking for a a succion cup that sticks to a texturized surface like the dashboard of a car, go for this one. I finally found the one that does the job for my GPS for me to have a look at it from the height I want. As for the sturdiness, not the best not the worst. If it last 1 year, will have been a bargain.
