My husband only wears Carhartt jeans. He likes that they are comfortable and durable.

Good jeans, these are not as heavy a fabric as the ones with the faux leather patch on the back, but are well made. Get waist size up, they tend to run small.

Since several years back Carhartt has noticeably gone down hill. The stitching quality was the first thing I noticed. Pant purchase after pant purchase I was finding stitching failures. But then I realized when I ordered 3 pairs of the same size and type of Jean, that they were all different sizes. I wear a 30Wx30L and theirs are more like a 28Wx30. So when I tried again this time and the 30Wx30L were too small again I replaced them with 31Wx30L which were even smaller! I'm so displeased with the nosedive in quality and consistency. I'm not saying I know the reason why, but when they went woke, it seemed like right around that time when I started noticing the problems. This most recent pair was the final straw. I'm done with Carhartt for good.
