I could never go back to sliced-white now!
I really love this stuff! If I'm honest, though, I can't say I loved it when I first gave up eating "sliced white" six months ago and tried this brand of rye bread, I thought it tasted sour, damp, heavy and far too chewy... But now I love it and could never go back to "normal" bread!This is one thing I don't buy from Amazon though, I always buy from Ocado for just £1 a pack! I normally buy half a dozen packs or so at a time and they last me a good month or two! And I like this because it has a great shelf-life... And once opened it seems to keep forever if you wrap it tightly and pop it into the fridge after use. I now love the taste and texture of this bread but initially I only liked it toasted and spread with coconut oil... But I've acquired a real taste for it now and I love it as it's intended to be eaten (un-toasted) ! (My German friend is horrified at the idea of me toasting rye-bread (she's obviously a traditionalist and doesn't know what she's missing!) but honestly, toasted rye bread is gorgeous!)So, to recap, yes, I love this rye bread... I wouldn't actually ever buy it on Amazon as it's only £1 a pack from Ocado...which is great, because after using it daily for six months, I'm completely addicted to the stuff! Love it!
