The dot digital business card is a great networking tool and very easy to use. It works seamlessly with both iPhone and Android; tap to share your contact information instantly. Setup was quick, and updating details online is simple, which is much more convenient than reprinting physical cards. It's an innovative, modern alternative to traditional business cards and makes a great impression when sharing contact information.

So incredibly easy
What an amazing idea. I gifted to my brother who just got into sales. He said it was so easy to set up and use. Size is perfect to fit into wallet so you never forget your business card!

The business card of the future! Buy this today if you are in sales!
Business cards are fading out but there has not been a great way to share your contact info. Some phone users have blue tooth turned off, NFC, off and perhaps wifi. Dot cards can do NFC or via the unique QR code on the card to either wirelessly transfer your info or via the QR code let them download your contact info to their database of choice. (Apple contacts, Google contacts, etc.) These work great and people are impressed when they scan your dot card. Also no hidden fees or memberships to worry about. It takes about 3-5 minutes to set up your account and you are off to the races sharing contact data with whom you choose!

I get a lot of compliments
the card is amazing! I get a lot of compliments on it, I do wish the card was a little thicker but it has been sturdy thus far. I gave it only 4 stars because the tap feature doesn't work every time, I carry paper ones as backup. Setting up the card on the app is very easy and it's a free account.

Scam
Why Popl and Dot Are Considered Ripoffs 1. Hidden Ongoing Costs The card itself is cheap, but to actually use the main features (like seeing who scanned your card, managing contacts, or exporting data), you have to pay a monthly or annual subscription. Over time, these fees add up to much more than just buying regular business cards. 2. Spammy Contact List When you use the app, it can flood your phone’s contact list with people from inside the company (like their CEO, COO, etc.), cluttering your contacts with names you don’t know or want. 3. Paywalls After Limited Use After you’ve used the card a few times or added a few contacts, you hit a paywall. To unlock more features or see more of your contacts, you have to pay up. 4. Lack of Upfront Transparency The real costs and limitations aren’t obvious until after you’ve bought the card and started using the app. Many users feel tricked because the marketing focuses on the low price of the card, not the expensive ongoing costs. 5. Not Better Than Regular Cards When you add up the costs and hassle, you could have just bought a regular box of business cards and used a free CRM or contact app. The “digital” part doesn’t actually save you time or money-it just adds extra steps and charges. 6. Limited Usefulness Without Paying The free/basic version is extremely limited. Most features that make the card useful are locked behind a subscription. Bottom Line Popl and Dot look cool, but the real value is locked behind expensive subscriptions. You end up paying much more over time than you would for traditional cards or other digital solutions. The apps can clutter your contacts and don’t explain all charges upfront. Most users feel the tech is more hype than help.
